Bella Hadid joins Chopard as Global Ambassador
Chopard has announced that supermodel and entrepreneur Bella Hadid has been appointed as its new Global Ambassador. This momentous collaboration celebrates Bella Hadid’s triumphant return to the fashion stage and heralds the debut of a new chapter for Chopard, the Artisan of Emotions, as it continues to develop its offerings in watches and jewellery, which are renowned for their exceptional craftsmanship and unwavering commitment to the highest ethical and environmental standards. Bella Hadid’s grace and effervescence have been framed in six stunning images, set to be unveiled in media on September 1st. Chopard entrusted the campaign to the compelling, creative vision of Alasdair McLellan, the internationally acclaimed photographer responsible for some of Chopard’s most iconic advertisements.

Buccellati participates in the third edition of Homo Faber Exhibition, Venice
The Buccellati High Jewellery and Silversmith Maison announced its participation in the third edition of Homo Faber, from September 1st to September 30th at the Giorgio Cini Foundation, on the Island of San Giorgio Maggiore in Venice. For the second time running, Buccellati has been invited to take part in this prestigious cultural event dedicated to the celebration of art, creativity and contemporary craftsmanship, and the role they play in our daily lives. On the occasion of the event, the Maison presents two distinct projects: the first one is dedicated to the art de la table, with a special centerpiece composed of artichokes, celebrating their rich symbolism and Nature as a source of inspiration; the second one pays tribute to the craftsmanship of high jewellery. |

Girard-Perregaux unveils La Esmeralda ‘A Secret’ Eternity Edition Honey
La Esmeralda Tourbillon ‘A Secret’ Eternity Edition is housed in a 43 mm pink gold case. It features Three Gold Bridges in a matching hue and is endowed with a honey colour Grand Feu dial. The case, lugs, bezel and buckle are intricately engraved and pay homage to the historic pocket watch of 1889. The dial is enlivened with a combination of sunray and circular guilloché, expertly imparted by hand using a traditional rose engine lathe. At the heart of the watch sits the Signature Tourbillon with Three Gold Bridges, the Manufacture calibre GP09600. Equipped with a discreet white gold micro-rotor, located beneath the barrel, the movement offers the convenience of automatic winding and plays host to golden engravings, referencing the patent filed for the Tourbillon with Three Bridges movement in 1884. |

DATOGRAPH UP/DOWN “Hampton Court Edition” by A. Lange & Sohne
In this year that commemorates the 25th anniversary of the DATOGRAPH, a unique timepiece crafted especially for this occasion merits considerable attention. For the first time, the DATOGRAPH UP/DOWN “Hampton Court Edition” unites a 750 white-gold case, a grey dial with black subsidiary dials and an engraved hinged cuvette. The exceptional combination of colours emphasises the harmonious dial configuration, whilst the luminous gold hands for hours and minutes perfectly match the case material and contrast crisply against the grey background ? as does the red chrono seconds hand in the centre, adding a distinctive colour accent. This timepiece will be auctioned in November by the renowned auctioneer Phillips in Association with Bacs & Russo in Geneva. The proceeds of this watch, in 750 white gold with a grey dial and engraved hinged cuvette, will go to the British charity The Prince’s Trust and can be admired during the Concours of Elegance at Hampton Court Palace 2024. |

Perpetual Moon 38 Red Gold welcomes two limited-edition dials. The radiance of 88 pieces in blue aventurine glass and 28 pieces in a warm, sunray-brushed grey joins that of the largest moon phase. Arnold & Son exhibits its mastery of colour, its sense of texture and its taste for materials, telling a nocturnal narrative that brings together the grey of a cliff, the iridescent white of the moon and the almost black blue of a starry sky. The revival of DANIEL ROTH continues with the unveiling of the Tourbillon Rose Gold. Following the last year’s Tourbillon Souscription in yellow gold, which was a limited edition of 20 pieces, the emblematic Tourbillon now makes its debut in rose gold with a new guillochage en ligne dial. Inspired by the original Tourbillon C187, designed by Daniel Roth himself and the very first wristwatch with a large tourbillon showcased on the dial, the Tourbillon Rose Gold is dressed in the “pink on pink” livery revered by watch aficionados – the 5N rose gold case is matched with a 5N rose gold guilloche dial. As a continuation of the reborn DANIEL ROTH legacy, the Tourbillon Rose Gold will be individually numbered on the dial starting from “21”, following the Tourbillon Souscription that was numbered “01” to “20”. |
