IEG - Italian Exhibition Group with Vicenzaoro announces VOICE

Three days for the gold and jewellery industry’s re-start in the world. Live. IEG - Italian Exhibition Group with Vicenzaoro announces VOICE - Vicenzaoro International Community Event, an extraordinary format to be staged at Vicenza’s Expo Centre and within the territory, from Saturday 12th to Monday 14th September. In a season where the sector’s trade shows have been deeply affected, all either postponed or cancelled, IEG is launching an event that comes from listening to companies, their willingness to resume trade show activities and relations with the national and international supply chain community.
VOICE will be a Summit where the Community will discuss the state of the industry and the upcoming challenges with opinion leaders: themes will include Sustainability, Trend & Design, Innovation & Technology with institutional moments and technical talks as well as content amplified by the main global trade media, bloggers and influencers in Made in Italy’s strategic markets.
Events will unfold in several areas of Vicenza’s Expo Centre and cutting-edge integration with the most sophisticated television broadcasting systems and digital instrumentation will ensure that all the talks and seminars will be live online and also viewable in streaming on Youtube, Instagram and FB to be available all over the world.
VOICE will also be one big showroom where supply chain companies will be able to present their new collections, the latest design trends and most contemporary procedure and processing innovations.
An elegant and essential context will welcome the buyers physically participating in the event while a «Buyer Virtual Room» will be set up for those from countries with difficulties in travelling to Italy: meetings scheduled by exhibitors and buyers themselves through the I-MOP, IEG’s Meeting Omnichannel Platform.

GJEPC to organise first-ever buyer-seller meet in virtual format

For the first time, GJEPC is hosting their buyer and seller meet in a virtual format, amidst the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. The virtual format of this unique buyers and sellers meet will give an opportunity for Indian domestic jewellery manufacturers to showcase diamond collections to global buyers in a virtual format, thus continuing the momentum of the gems and jewellery trade. The Virtual Buyer and Seller Meet will be held on 27th and 28th, August 2020. Buyers from Australia, Bangladesh, China, Colombia, Europe, Middle East, Russia CIS, South Africa, South Asia, UK, and USA are expected to participate in the VBSM.

Emile Chouriet continues its support for Sierre-Zinal in an exceptional 2020 race format

For the third consecutive year now, Emile Chouriet continues its support for Sierre-Zinal, marking its 47th edition this year. Known as the “Race of the five 4,000m peaks”, Sierre-Zinal is widely recognized as one of the world’s most spectacular mountain races. Part of the Golden Trail World Series, with a total distance of 31km in distance including an ascent of 2‘200m and a descent of 1’100m, it attracts runners from all over the world who wish to take on the serene yet challenging track in the heart of the Swiss Valais region. In order to uphold social distancing and safety guidelines, the race will be held over the duration of one month from August 17 to September 18, to avoid large gatherings of people.

Celebrating the humane side of the Indian G&J Industry, Gems & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) in association with the World Gold Council felicitated the real heroes of the Industry for their exemplary Contribution towards Society during COVID-19. This was an event witnessed for the very first time via a Virtual Musical Extravaganza where the spirits & undying attitudes of the industry were celebrated. Shri. Vijay Rupani, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Gujarat appreciated the good work done by the industry during the Covid. Singer Anuradha Paudwal with other eminent personalities were also present to grace this occasion.
