The 19th edition of the Middle East Watch & Jewellery of the Year Awards took place on 22nd November at the opulent Green Room at Soho Garden Palm Jumeirah, Dubai. The prestigious annual gala once again paid tribute to the world's most coveted timepieces and jewellery.
The landmark event was brought to life by the publishers of Arabian Watches & Jewellery Magazine, with support from Al Fardan Jewellery, Majid Al Futtaim, Lucid Motors, and organisers of the Saudi International Luxury Week exhibition.
“We are honoured to be a part of this year’s Middle East Watch & Jewellery of the Year Awards as they continue to pioneer and set industry standards in the Middle East for fine jewellery and watches,” says Ghada Al Fardan, CEO and Vice President, Al Fardan Jewellery UAE.
“With Al Fardan’s reputation as leading worldwide experts on the natural pearl trading, we commend the organisers for providing this platform to champion the region’s commitment to the industry,” she added.
Under the theme "Heritage and Innovation for a Sustainable Future" this year, the Middle East Watch & Jewellery of the Year Awards aimed to underscore the importance of sustainability in watch and jewellery culture, and highlighted the region’s emerging status as a global industry hub. With sustainability at the forefront, the ceremony recognised and honoured 23 leading watch and jewellery brands for their remarkable creations.
The Swiss Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Bahrain, H.E. Arthur Mattli, was in attendance, alongside numerous watch collectors and jewellery enthusiasts.
Nominated brands were judged by a distinguished panel of experts including collectors and watch experts from Switzerland, USA and across the Gulf.
This year marks the 19th edition of the Middle East Watch & Jewellery of the year awards, first introduced in the Middle East by Arabian Watches & Jewellery Magazine in 2005.
