Buccellati celebrates Valentine's Day with new collection

Valentine's Day is approaching and Buccellati couldn't fail to celebrate it with a new interpretation of the Opera pendant, which is transformed into a stylised heart to honour the day of love and lovers, centrally decorated with a small pavé of diamonds that embellishes it. The design of the new pendant is inspired by the Renaissance-style Opera collection with a symmetry in the flower that is its symbol and recurring motif. Buccellati complements the new Opera pendant with creations from the iconic Hawaii collection, born in 1932 from the creative genius of the Maison's founder, Mario, inspired by the Hawaiian welcome garland. A cascade of tiny gold circles, handcrafted with the twisted thread technique, plays with light and movement. The circles have a diameter of 0.6 mm and are composed of two gold wires, twisted and patiently hand-soldered one by one, creating a movable mesh.

Bell & Ross launches BR 05 Artline Dragon

2024 will be the Year of the Dragon. According to Chinese astrology, those born under the Dragon have a character that is active, strong-willed, confident, enterprising and lucky. The new BR 05 Artline Dragon watch takes on this bold personality, with exclusive laser engraving reminiscent of a tattoo. The BR 05 Artline Dragon moves into a whole new field by adopting graphic codes linked to the art of tattooing. Playing on light and shadow through the relative fineness and thickness of each stroke, this line work is crucial to transcending the realm of drawing to that of a metal tattoo. On the BR 05 Artline Dragon’s dial and integrated bracelet, the decorative motif is finely engraved. The ancestral technique of engraving has been practised in China for more than a millennium. In watchmaking, engraving is traditionally considered the first non-functional enrichment of a timepiece.

Exclusively designed for Bucherer, this exceptional watch stands as a testament to the unparalleled skill of the artisans who poured their expertise into its creation. This timepiece features a carillon-type minute repeater that comprises three gongs and hammers, adding a layer of complexity to its functionality. The automatic movement is further enhanced by a platinum micro-rotor, while the micro-rotor’s decorative plate is crafted in rose gold. The presence of the JCB seal on the regulating bridge signifies the movement’s exceptional finish, both in terms of quality and aesthetics.

Oris and Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) collaborate on a limited-edition watch

As a proud partner of MCC and the first Official Timekeeper of Lord’s, Oris is delighted to have created the Father Time Limited Edition, a bronze watch that highlights both our formal role at the club, and also Oris and MCC’s shared vision to bring Change for the Better. MCC is the world’s most active cricket club, the owner of Lord’s and the guardian of the Laws of the game. Like Oris, the club believes passionately in working for the benefit of its communities, both local to Lord’s and abroad. Its 40 mm case, fluted bezel and crown are made of solid, naturally ageing bronze, and it comes with both a bronze articulated bracelet and a light brown leather strap made from sustainably sourced deer leather produced by our Swiss partner Cervo Volante.
