Baselworld closed the doors with successful feedback, 2019 dates Mar 21-26
After seven successful days, Baselworld closed the doors of the 2018 edition. At the closing press conference, Baselworld’s Managing Director Sylvie Ritter summarised that this year’s edition proved to be successful. An overwhelming majority of the exhibitors reported very satisfactory business results. All leading brands will exhibit at Baselworld, March 21 – 26, 2019. Definitive commitments have been received from Rolex, Swatch Group, Patek Philippe, LVMH, Chopard, Breitling, Chanel and many other brands. The 2019 edition of Baselworld will be held between 21-26 March.

Cartier announces finalists for the 2018 Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards
Cartier announces the 2018 finalists of the Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards. The 18 finalists were selected amongst 2800 applications from over 130 countries (among them Austria, Cameroon and Pakistan for the first time) which represents almost twice as many applications received compared to last year.
For the second consecutive year, the 18 finalists will be invited to the INSEAD Campus in Singapore, to participate in the Awards week program (bespoke business workshops and coaching sessions for the finalists as well as jury evaluation). The laureates will be announced at the international Cartier Awards ceremony, on April 26 2018, at the Capella, in Singapore.

Expo Centre Sharjah has announced that it will host 500 local and international brands and companies at the 44th edition of the Mideast Watch and Jewellery Show. The biannual show will launch on Tuesday, with support from the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The Show, which will be held from April 3 to 7, will feature a wide range of exhibitors and brands from 25 different countries that specialise in the design and manufacture of watches and jewellery. |
