The GPHG Academy

Now in its third year of existence, the GPHG Academy has over 650 members. Rapidly adopted by the watchmaking world, this vast network encompassing ambassadors of the passion for watchmaking is growing in number and skills to reinforce its role in highlighting the industry. A success story in several respects, the GPHG Academy has become a valuable means of sharing and promoting watchmaking culture, while at the same time democratizing the nomination and voting process. The members of the Academy take part in the various stages of the competition: first of all, they are invited to propose timepieces for the competition; once the brands have made their entries, they select the nominated timepieces, then take part in a second vote in the autumn to determine the award-winners alongside the jury.

 

Boucheron reveals new Middle East Campaign: Share More

Following on from its Legacies and Rock, Paper, Scissors campaigns in 2020 and 2021, Boucheron has launched its new regional campaign in the Middle East “Share More“– this year rooted in the pleasures of sharing. In the first part of the campaign, the six women gather to share a moment of friendship, each wearing Quatre Classique Edition pieces from one of Boucheron’s most iconic lines. The second story is all about playfulness. Sitting by the pool, the young women play with different ways to wear Quatre Blue and White Edition jewellery, the colours an echo of the reflections on the water. The final part of the campaign depicts a time of change, a crossroads of introspection in the heart of the desert. In this story, the new Serpent Bohème Solarité collection is unveiled.

TAG Heuer continues to reinforce its retail presence in one of the world’s largest shopping malls in the UAE. Tiffany & Co.’s traveling High Jewelry Caravan Collection makes its debut in the Middle East

As one of the Middle East’s most important cities, Dubai is the first stop for this dazzling collection of traveling jewels. Revisiting some of the Maison’s world-renowned innovative designs and unparalleled gemstones, the exhibition invites clients to see over 90 high jewelry designs from the Blue Book collection, including Jean Schlumberger’s masterpieces. Some of the most extraordinary pieces that clients can uncover are the Schlumberger Leaves Necklace and Schlumberger Morning Glory Necklace. Drawing inspiration from the natural world, Jean Schlumberger’s masterworks are enduring icons of bold imagination and mesmerizing beauty. Running till end of the month, the high jewelry caravan is housed at Caviar Kaspia Dubai. The restaurant space is inviting and elegant with an intimate and interactive setting. After leaving Dubai, the traveling exhibition will touch down in cities such as Miami and London.  

 

H. Moser & Cie. announces the opening of its American subsidiary and appoints Claudio Terjanian as Brand President for Canada and the United States

H. Moser & Cie. has recently announced the opening of its American subsidiary, MELB Americas, and the appointment of Claudio Terjanian as its new Brand President. MELB Holding is the group behind H. Moser & Cie., Hautlence and Precision Engineering. The appointment marks a significant milestone for the brand; Terjanian is the first addition to the new Americas subsidiary and will oversee the markets of Canada and the United States. The opening of the new Americas subsidiary is part of H. Moser & Cie.'s long term development strategy, following the creation of MELB Asia in 2013 and then MELB Middle East in 2017, a strong signal in terms of growth for the Schaffhausen-based company. In 2020, H. Moser & Cie. recorded 50% growth in the U.S., making it the fastest growing market of the year. In 2021, the company confirmed its exponential growth.
