Nautilus Travel Time Chronograph by Patek Philippe Réf. 5990/1A-001

fiogf49gjkf0d

Patek Philippe presents its first timepiece to combine a dual time zone with a chronograph. These eminently useful functions are showcased together in the new Nautilus Travel Time Chronograph. Local time is set forwards or backwards in one-hour increments by means of two pushers. Their seamless integration into the side of the case at 9 o'clock conserves the iconic design of the Nautilus, launched in 1976 and inspired by the shape of a porthole. As for the chronograph pushers, they are positioned next to the crown. The dial is distinguished by a dual day/night indication, one for each time zone, a date hand at 12 o'clock, and a 60-minute totaliser at 6 o'clock, ensuring at-a-glance legibility. This original combination of six complications was made possible by the development of a new automatic movement which is visible through the sapphire crystal back.

RJ-Romain Jerome’s Moon Orbiter relaunched

fiogf49gjkf0d

Witnesses suggest that the intergalactic timepiece has endured an aesthetic change during its entry into our atmosphere. This process has reportedly darkened the case of the watch and given it an enigmatic black PVD finish with a new name: the Moon Orbiter Speed Metal. Following the success of the original timepiece, RJ-Romain Jerome introduces the Moon Orbiter Speed Metal. With its still generous 49 mm wide, 45 mm long and 20 mm thick bezel-free case, the timepiece is now featured with a new black PVD finish. True to its cosmic origins, the blackened watch case combines steel from the Apollo 11 spacecraft and watchmaking steel.

Patravi ScubaTec by Carl F. Bucherer

fiogf49gjkf0d

Carl F. Bucherer introduces the Patravi ScubaTec, an impressive dive watch that puts all its assets to work above and below water. Inside beats the automatic CFB 1950.1 calibre whose precision and reliability have been certified by the COSC. To ensure dive times are accurately measured for complete security, the bezel will only rotate counter-clockwise, thereby ensuring the diver's safety should the bezel be accidentally knocked. Hands and hour-markers are coated in Super-LumiNova which glows blue in the dark for underwater legibility. A helium valve releases pressure inside the case to protect against damage when resurfacing. Stylish and sporty, the Patravi ScubaTec is the ideal dive buddy.

fiogf49gjkf0d

Bvlgari captures the power of luminosity in LVCEA, a new timepiece for women. Tribute to the sundial, LVCEA winds history with modernity, clasping function to design. A rounded case, its lithe foundation, and a spectrum of shades and styles make LVCEA as luminously feminine as it is unmistakable.

Eberhard & Co. introduces Contograf

fiogf49gjkf0d

In 1960, Eberhard & Co. presented an automatic chronograph that would become an emblem of its era thanks to its innovative attributes combined with remarkable precision: the Contograf. Over the years, its twin counters, its broad instant-jump date window, as well as its water-resistant pushers have established the watch as an indispensable daily companion. Eberhard & Co. now celebrates this legendary chronograph through a new Contograf. While most of the original identity codes have been preserved, such as the minutes counter also measuring the phone clicks that used to occur every three minutes in the 1960s, vintage details rub shoulders with some interesting novelties. The Contograf 2014 is thus equipped with an elegant ceramic rotating bezel as well as the Chassis® metal bracelet completed with its patented Déclic folding clasp.

The delicately fluted crown ensures remarkable ease of use, as well as being secured against knocks by the subtly cambered lateral protections.

Victorinox Dive Master 500

This year, to celebrate 25 years in the watchmaking industry, Victorinox released a new version of the Dive Master in a 500 pieces limited edition, the first ever limited edition timepiece released by the brand. The watch is Victorinox‘s very first timepiece operated by an automatic chrono movement and by the reliable ETA 2894-2 caliber. It supports a 43mm wide grade 2 titanium sandblasted case, and has a highly luminescent 20 minute scale on the bezel, plus a transparent sapphire crystal case back.

Saint Honore Euphoria One Carat

fiogf49gjkf0d

The new Saint Honore Euphoria One Carat is exceptional through its femininity, elegance and the beauty of its lines, and above all for its 172 diamonds, each 1mm in diameter, which adorn the case and dial. These precious stones, totaling exactly one carat, make this an extraordinary piece of jewellery that transforms time into a glittering vision. At the heart of the watch, diamonds and graphic hour-markers create a refined setting for the white mother-of-pearl dial, on which large sword-shaped hands mark out the hours and minutes.

Ateliers deMonaco presents Tourbillon Oculus Petite Minute

Five years ago, Ateliers deMonaco announced the launch of its in house developed Grand Tourbillon Xtreme Precision, regulated to have a tolerance between 0-2 seconds/24H, and making it one of the most precise Tourbillons in the world. To commemorate and celebrate this milestone, the brand will enhance their line-up this year with a new and visually equally impact full member in our Tourbillon family: the Grand Tourbillion Xtreme Precision Oculus Petite Minute. An oculus denotes a circular opening in an otherwise solid dome or wall originating out of the Byzantine and neoclassical architecture that allowed light to come through and subsequently would naturally draw the attention to this opening of light. It is also known as an “oeil de boeuf” in French or simply a “bull’s-eye“. Given the sapphire bridge holds our 60 seconds Tourbillon’s cage as the bull’s eye of the further solid and more classical looking Côtes de Geneve decorated dial, we only felt it natural to call this our Oculus.

The bezel also features a five-minute scale boasting Super-LumiNova inlays. In addition to the chronograph function, the date is displayed within a subdial positioned at 3 o’clock.
