Dubai International Airport prepares for holiday season.

The Dubai International Airport is all set to welcome almost 8 million passengers during December. 

Predicting the busiest travel days to coincide with the closure of schools in the UAE for the holidays, the airport is encouraging those flying between December 15 and 23, to arrive early at the airport. 

Airport operational teams will use the latest sensor technology to constantly monitor passenger flows, allowing staff to be deployed quickly to avoid delays and long queues.
 

Graff purchases Peace Diamond for $6.5M.

The government of Sierra Leone rejected an original bid for $7.7 million from a private buyer for the 709-carat rough “Peace Diamond.” The stone was ultimately purchased by Graff Diamonds for $6.5 million at an auction in New York.

TAG Heuer launches official countdown of Dubai Cycling Tour

At the occasion of the official Dubai Tour Press Conference at City Walk, where the 2018 winner’s jersey of the Dubai Tour has been unveiled along with the new Dubai Tour routes, TAG Heuer launched the official countdown of the race and announced the ‘Don’t Crack Under Pressure’ prize by awarding a TAG Heuer watch at the end of the tour. In cycling every second matters and even the minutest timing errors can negate hours of strenuous exertion. With 16 World Tour Teams competing for the winner’s jersey amidst the golden sand dunes and the iconic city of Dubai, every second counts. The Dubai Tour is an annual stage race on the international circuit, which covers more than 750 km over five distinct stages. The 2018 tour, beginning on February 6, is the fifth installment of the prolific race that sees riders cover hundreds of kilometres a day, through the desert and the city of Dubai.

Hermès introduces the latest addition to the Hermès Cape Cod collection.

The new Skylab Batman timepiece introduces a new facet of “The Dark Knight”. The 48 mm Case features straight lines and chamfered angles. The sapphire crystal on the dial side reveals the three-layer skeleton movement as well as the vital organs of the watch, the barrel at 12h and the balance wheel at 6h. At the center of the dial, we can perceive a familiar shape blending in with the architectural mechanism, a skeletonized Batman logo.
