Avenue Montaigne is considered to be the most chic street in Paris.

Arnold & Son unveils the Golden Wheel timepiece

Arnold & Son fills the time-carrousel of the Golden Wheel with a true beat seconds hand from the central axis adding visual complexity and elegant motion. Arnold & Son crafts the central time-carrousel in solid red gold, thereby giving the masterpiece its Golden Wheel name. The dial plate is treated NAC grey with Côtes de Genève finishing. In typical Arnold & Son style, the movement is treated in palladium and is meticulously decorated with Haute Horlogerie finishing, including hand-chamfered bridges with polished edges, fine circular graining, Côtes de Genève rayonnantes, circular satin-finished wheels and blued screws with bevelled and mirror-polished heads. Strap is hand-stitched brown or black alligator leather.

Corum and Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons launch the Admiral's Cup Legend 42 Flying Tourbillon

Corum launches Admiral’s Cup Legend 42 Flying Tourbillon at Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons to mark 60 years. With a tourbillon carriage mounted on enlarged ceramic ball bearings for resilience, the movement has the bridge and base plate machined from stainless steel, instead of the typical, softer brass. Finished with a fine straight graining, the base plate is visible through the smoked sapphire dial with a red gold galvanized. Echoing the 12 nautical pennants is the 12-sided bezel of the red gold case. With a 42 mm diameter and just 13 mm high, the case is constructed to be elegant yet robust, with a water resistance of 50 m.

Officine Panerai the “Panerai Only” auction was held in Paris

The “Panerai Only” auction was held in Paris on 8th December 2014 at Artcurial ended with proceeds of more than one million euros and it was entirely devoted to the historic watches of Officine Panerai. In the course of the auction two world records were broken by two models of great importance in the history of Officine Panerai. The first was an extremely rare “Radiomir Egiziano”, the diver’s watch made in 1956 for the Egyptian Navy. The other world record was broken by a Radiomir PAM00021, a Special Edition of 1997 in platinum.
