UAE still a top-draw attraction for global brands

Despite the continuing weakness in retail spending activity, UAE still remains a top-draw attraction for brands, figuring 19th in their list of most favored destinations. In fact, UAE shares the ranking with 10 per cent of international retailers targeting an opening here with India, Canada, the Czech Republic and Malaysia, according to the latest forecasts by the real estate consultancy CBRE. In the first-half of this decade, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Doha were the most-go places for retail expansions, in earlier CBRE findings on retailer plans. 

 

Breitling unveils Smart Watch in Dubai

Exospace B55, Breitling’s first connected chronograph, launched in Middle East, will tell you that it is Apple who should be worried.  While the Apple Watch is an accessory to the iPhone – and Samsung’s Gear S2 and a host of other smartphones Breitling wants it the other way around, It has, therefore, launched the Exospace B55 at a price-point of $8,900 (Dh32, 700), just a tad under where the Apple Watch Edition starts. The watch is now available across Breitling Boutiques and stores in the region. 

 

Zenith watches dropping its prices

Due to the current economical context, Zenith has decided to reduce and reposition some specific models in the El Primero and the Elite collection. The price adjustments apply to all markets and concern watches.

The three-dimensional, openwork movement and dial of the Nebula offer views into the very heart of the in-house manufacture calibre.  Two mainspring barrels providing a 90-day power reserve at the top.  The  view  through  the display  back  reveals  even  more  of  the  superlatively  hand-finished  movement,  with  its  skeletonized  and  chamfered main  plate  with  polished edges, gold chatons and gears featuring polished chamfers.  The  Nebula  is  available  in  red gold  or  stainless  steel  case,  with  a sapphire crystal display back.
