Graff presents Diamond MasterGraff Grand Date Dual Time Tourbillon

Graff orchestrates a fascinating encounter between Haute Horlogerie and Haute Joaillerie with its new creation: the Diamond MasterGraff Grand Date Dual Time Tourbillon. The result of more than 2,000 hours of development, its mechanical movement associates a flying tourbillon with a dual-time display and a large instantaneous date that jumps at exactly midnight. While the exclusive calibre reveals the beauty of its gear wheels through the sapphire crystal, the case and dial exalt the jewellery-making expertise of the House through a dazzling setting of 329 diamonds totalling 13.7 carats. Set against a backdrop of rose or white gold, the precious stones exercise their timeless powers of fascination and sparkle with radiant fire on a dial also lit up by an emerald at noon, as well as forming the emblematic Graff signature on the dial: an invisibly-set mosaic crafted using an exclusive technique resulting from a full year’s research.

Boucheron showcased the beautiful EPURE D’ART L I ERRE D E LUMIERE

This new Boucheron creation plays on the contrast between the cut stones and the wild ivy that flourishes between them. In keeping with Maison Boucheron’s traditional sources of inspiration, here nature further enhances the beauty of the city – an untameable, triumphant, true-to-life nature that symbolises love, life and freedom. With its 3 ivy leaves, decorated with openwork veins and diamonds that flourish within a mosaic of rough diamonds, Lierre de Lumière is a feat of technical prowess. The play on contrasts gives the creation an extraordinary brilliance, where time, enhanced by a flying tourbillon with white gold bezel set with round diamonds and dial set with rough brilliant and baguette diamonds and beige alligator strap.

Miss Suisse Laetitia Guarino special appearance with Balmain

Miss Suisse 2014 Laetitia Guarino, the Balmain watches ambassador and face of the brand made a special visit to Balmain stand at Baselworld on Sunday March 22nd. Elias Ghoson, President of Balmain watches – a member of Swatch Group received Miss Suisse during a cocktail reception and presented her with a beautiful Balmain watch.

The company was founded in 1915 as the “Fabrique genevoise de crayons”. The company initially specialised in graphite and coloured pencils and diversified its activities to include wax oil pastels, mechanical pencils and the first ballpoint pens. Chanel unveils its new watch collection

Chanel has recently unveiled its new watch collection at Baselworld 2015 show.

The French label has concocted three groups of watches: J12, Première and Mademoiselle Privé –which all mingle a mechanical drift with refined fashion.

In the J12 clan, the most notable watch – made in collaboration with Swiss master watchmakers Renaud & Papi (APRP SA) – is the J12 Skeleton Flying Tourbillon, which elegantly divulges its inner skeleton. Its tourbillon set is denuded from its upper bridge but embellished with a diamond-dusted comet, which makes it sparkle. The Première rock metal and Première rock watches have a black or coral core and a double steel chain bracelet –either colored or in metallic– which manages to stay delicate all the while being eye-catching. Similarly to the J12 Flying Skeleton Tourbillon, the Première Openwork Flying Tourbillon is made in collaboration with Renaud & Papi and is marked with their symbol: a stunning diamond-shaped camellia flower. The Mademoiselle Privé collection includes two new unique pieces. The round Mademoiselle Coromandel Dial watches reveal golden glyptic designs of either flowers or birds and are charmingly surrounded by white or beige 18k gold sparkles, and an aggressive black reptile strap.

A new impressive Patravi TravelTec by Carl F. Bucherer

An ingenious mechanism allows the second time zone to be adjusted by the crown, jumping one hour at each push, rather than turning freely, thus maintaining absolute precision with local time.
