Swatch Group chairwoman aiming record 2011

Swatch Group’s new chairwoman, Nayla Hayek has quoted that the group is aiming for another record year in 2011 as new products come on to the market in the coming months. The group, which is best known for its colorful plastic Swatch watches and also owns higher-end brands such as Breguet, Blancpain and Omega, is set to post sales of over 6 billion Swiss francs ($5.82 billion) this year, setting a record for the group.

India requests Dubai to extradite four for diamond theft

India has requested the United Arab Emirates to extradite the suspects - three Mexican and a Venezuelan who fled the country after stealing more than $1.4 million (Dh5.14 million) worth of diamonds from an international jewellery show. The diamonds have been recovered and India requested the suspects be extradited to India.

Hublot, as well as being the main sponsor of the tournament, also supported a team comprising 3 Argentinian players and one Italian. Christie's to offer Art masterpieces from Dr. Farsi's private collection

Christie’s in Dubai will offer further masterpieces from the collection of Dr. Mohammed Said Farsi on 26 October 2010. The group of 30 works include paintings representing many of Egypt’s most famous 20^th century artists such as Mahmoud Said, Ragheb Ayad, Abul Hadi El-Gazzar, Hamed Nada, Seif and Adham Wanly, and Adam Henein, for which new world auction records have been established this year in Dubai.

The Asprey World Class Cup

Asprey World Class Cup Polo was held at the Hurtwood Park Polo Club in Ewhurst, Surrey. The event was attended by HRH Prince Harry, HRH Prince Albert of Monaco and a crowd of celebrities. HRH Price Harry played the final match of the day for the Asprey team where players wore the Asprey Polo kit, including the signature purple shirt. The winner’s trophy, made in sterling silver, was produced and engraved by Asprey and presented by Kenney Jones at the end of the match.
