140 Years of Firsts: Breitling Aerospace B70 Orbiter
Founded in 1884, Breitling is celebrating its 140th anniversary. Throughout the year, the brand will mark the occasion with stories of its incredible firsts, from breakthroughs in timekeeping for air, land, and sea, to milestones in sustainability. It will also be a year chock full of events, exhibits, and special launches. And today, Breitling kicks off the festivities with a watch recognizing one of those momentous firsts: the Breitling Orbiter 3’s first nonstop balloon flight around the world. Celebrating this landmark on its 25th anniversary, Breitling, the sponsor of the groundbreaking voyage, unveils the Aerospace B70 Orbiter. The timepiece is a tribute to an adventure that expanded the horizons of human achievement and, best of all, each watch contains a piece of the original balloon.

Bulgari celebrates the Indian Festival of Colours with a vibrant gala event
Bulgari, the magnificent Roma High Jeweller known as the master of coloured gemstones, celebrated the festive spirit of Holi, the Indian festival of Colours, with A Roman Holi. A vibrant gala event held in Mumbai, at Antilia, co-hosted with Isha M. Ambani, Director, Reliance Industries Limited. The evening was an ode to Bulgari’s love for India and its deep connection to its rich cultural heritage. For this special occasion, Bulgari selected nine necklaces from its Heritage Collection, featuring nine different gems inspired by the Navaratna, a talisman connected to Indian astrology, expressing the Maison's love for coloured gemstone. Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Bulgari's global ambassador, embraced the spirit of the Maison at the gathering.

Presenting Legacy Machine Flying T by MB&F
MB&F announced a new addition to the celebrated FlyingT collection: the LM FlyingT Onyx. Since 2020, the collection has hosted a special gemstone dial every year, with previous editions in Lapis Lazuli, Malachite, Tiger Eye and Cœur de Rubis. The series is joined today by the sophisticated LM FlyingT Onyx, featuring the deep black gemstone encased in an 18k yellow gold case – a classic combination found in vintage watches. Contrary to what one might think, the onyx dial is much more complex than a flat slab of gemstone: it is meticulously crafted 3-dimensionally, taking into account not only the asymmetrical cutout for the tourbillon, but also variable thicknesses to accommodate the technical requirements of the movement plate below. And to make things even more complex, the onyx is crafted into a dome. |

For 2024, Perrelet is offering a new edition dedicated to green table enthusiasts: the “Turbine Poker Royal Flush”, in a limited series of 99. Like every model in the family, the Turbine Poker Royal Flush's spinning turbine reveals the motif depicted on the lower dial: the faster the rotation, the clearer the illustration on the sub-dial. In this latest creation from the Maison, there are 12 cards to admire: a double royal flush with a pair of sevens. Like an expert dealer, Perrelet dealt the cards in the pot by selecting diamonds and clubs, complementary suits to the previous Turbine Poker edition: an incredible hand of double aces, kings, queens, jacks, 10s and 7s, red and black. |
