Jewellery, Gem & Technology in Dubai (JGTD) opened yesterday, October 27, 2026, at the Dubai Exhibition Centre in Expo City, bringing together approximately 300 exhibitors from more than 20 countries and regions. Running through Thursday, the fifth edition is expected to attract trade buyers from over 100 markets. Organised by Informa Markets and Italian Exhibition Group, the event offers a comprehensive sourcing platform for fine jewellery, diamonds, coloured gemstones, and jewellery technology. With year-end purchasing and 2027 inventory planning underway, JGTD reinforces Dubai’s position as a leading regional hub for the global jewellery trade, connecting suppliers with international buyers. |

Sotheby’s Collectors’ Week Returns to Abu Dhabi with First-Ever Fine Art Auction
Sotheby’s will return to Abu Dhabi in December for the second edition of Collectors’ Week, featuring six auctions celebrating exceptional art and luxury. The highlight is Breaking Ground, the auction house’s first-ever fine art sale in the emirate, showcasing works by internationally acclaimed artists, including Andy Warhol and Claude Monet, alongside prominent Middle Eastern and pioneering Emirati artists. Public exhibitions, events, panel discussions and masterclasses will open on 4 December at Saadiyat Grove Experience Center. Auctions featuring jewellery, watches, cars, high-performance bicycles and handbags will take place on 9 December, followed by the fine art auction on 10 December. |
