Damiani Expands and Reinforces Its Presence in the Middle East

Damiani, the only Italian Maison still owned by its founding family, reinforces its presence in the Gulf with a renovated 177 sqm boutique at Dubai Mall and a new 150 sqm store at Bahrain’s Marassi Galleria Mall. Both follow the brand’s new global concept inspired by an elegant Italian home, featuring refined design, warm tones of gold, beige, and brown, and inviting VIP rooms. The boutiques also highlight Venini, part of the Damiani Group, with exquisite blown glass décor. These openings confirm Damiani’s strategy to expand across the Middle East, following recent launches in Riyadh, Doha, and Kuwait City.

 

Chopard Receives Visionary of the Year Award at the First Grand Prix de la Haute Joaillerie

Chopard celebrated the first edition of the Grand Prix de la Haute Joaillerie, where the world's most prestigious Haute Joaillerie Maisons submitted their finest creations to an independent jury of experts. The Grand Prix de la Haute Joaillerie rewards the excellence, innovation, and artistry of this prestigious savoir-faire through a series of distinctions. The Maison is honoured to receive the Visionary of the Year Prize, for its Co-President and Artistic Director, Caroline Scheufele. Chopard Co-President and Artistic Director Caroline Scheufele, along with Isabelle Huppert, Lucas Bravo, Natalia Vodianova and Catrinel Marlon attended the evening in support of Chopard, wearing the Maison’s sparkling creations.

 

Piaget & ADIO Present Shapes of Extraleganza: A High Jewellery Celebration in Abu Dhabi

Piaget, in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO), presented Shapes of Extraleganza, a high jewellery event in Abu Dhabi from 29 October to 1 November 2025. The collection includes an Abu Dhabi Exclusive piece reflecting the city’s maritime heritage and continues Piaget’s exploration of bold design and refined craftsmanship. As the second chapter of a trilogy celebrating the Maison’s 1960s and ’70s-inspired creative heritage, it reinvents iconic codes for today. Unveiled at Erth, a landmark designed by Roger Taillibert symbolising a falcon in flight, the collection harmonises heritage and modernity, showcasing shapes in motion, artistic expression, and contemporary elegance.

The French fine jewellery Maison Korloff, a symbol of audacity and creativity since 1978, has officially arrived in Qatar, marking a significant new chapter in its storied legacy. This special reissue preserves the spirit of mid-century underwater exploration while integrating modern engineering for reliability. The 36.5mm twin-crown case, inspired by the Supercompressor design, ensures 20 ATM (660 feet) water resistance, with a black dial and 60-minute internal rotating bezel enhancing readability. Heritage details include cathedral-style hands, acrylic double-domed crystal with date magnification, and C3 Super-LumiNova markers. Powered by the Swiss Soprod P024 movement, it comes with a steel bracelet and nylon NATO strap.

 

Giorgio Armani Fine Jewellery: The Blanche Series Expands

The Blanche jewellery collection, inspired by the delicate Arabian jasmine, expands with a new set featuring a necklace, earrings, and ring in Armani’s 18K gold with precious stones. The semi-rigid choker showcases a milky agate flower with brilliant-cut diamonds and decorative leaves, complemented by topazes and prasiolite in soft green and pale blue. The collection also includes elegant flower pendant earrings in two lengths and a ring featuring three large stones. Appointment in Vicenza from 16th to 20th January 2026 for the global jewellery supply chain: Vicenzaoro January (VOJ) will open the international jewellery and watchmaking industry’s calendar at Italian Exhibition Group’s Expo Centre, currently in the final phase of redevelopment. T.Gold, the leading jewellery technology and machinery exhibition, will be back at the same time, hosted in hall 9 prior to its integration into the renovated Expo Centre as of September 2026. The appointment with VO Vintage, the B2C lounge dedicated to fine vintage jewellery and watches, will also return to welcome a public of enthusiasts and collectors from 16th to 19th January.
