The Limited Edition celebrates its 5th anniversary
In 2015, a group of keen collectors and watch lovers came together with the ambition of supporting the development of the art of independent watchmaking through online retail and extensive promotion. The Limited Edition was born and one question immediately came to the table: ‘What can we offer as an added value to the keen watch collector’? The initial answer that came to mind was: ‘The most amazing array of niche independent brands, for the true Connoisseur’. However, that was only part of what actually happened next. These exceptional artisanal watchmakers and their products often have an incredible story, which we help to tell in a curated and protected environment. Every brand produces based on demand sparked by the story telling, and not on the idea of filling the shelves of retailers across the planet. |

The Global seat of diamond manufacturing - Surat, is humming again
Surat, the world’s leading cutting and polishing diamond manufacturing hub, is humming again. Despite the imposed restrictions due to the pandemic till sometime back, many leading manufacturers aren’t reporting any new Covid cases. Colin Shah, Chairman, GJEPC said, “Cut and polished diamonds are a major contributor to the overall India’s gems and jewellery exports amounting to $35 billion. Although exports in the first quarter have been severely impacted by the ongoing pandemic, it is heartening to note that exports have commenced from the global seat of diamond manufacturing. As there are orders coming from the US, Hong Kong and parts of Europe for certain types of polished goods, the sector is on the path of recovery. The upcoming holiday season in the western countries, would further boost the demand for gems and jewellery.”
