The first edition of Imagination, the international watch-making trade show to take place in Neuchâtel in September 2021

Called Imagination, it is in Neuchâtel, the cradle of the horlogerie, that the international trade show dedicated to brands of watches, jewellery, precious stones and writing instruments will take place at the beginning of September 2021, with more than one hundred exhibitors participating in the event. After the cancellation of Baselworld and the different initiatives taken by watch making conglomerates, the other brands had to do something to exist in the eyes of the world, and an international showcase was exactly what they needed. The first edition of Imagination - OneWorld OneVision watch-making trade show, which will take place from 1st to 6th September 2021, will make it possible. It will be organized by Swiss Creative Events, a company co-founded by Carlo E. Naldi, who has already brought together independent brands during Baselworld.

Introducing the Superocean Heritage ’57 Pastel Paradise Capsule Collection by Breitling

The Superocean Heritage ’57 Pastel Paradise Capsule Collection is all about color, proportion, and of course substance. Its 38-mm stainless-steel case features a rotating bezel and bold indices. It’s the very essence of summer style. The palette for this seasonal women’s Capsule Collection is summer white, aquamarine, mint green, and iced latte – all with tone-on-tone dials, bezels, and straps. But the real show-stopper is the rainbow tangerine version. With hour markers and hands coated in Super-LumiNova®, it sings in hues of yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet, red, and orange. At the heart of each watch beats the COSC-certified Breitling Caliber 10 with a power reserve of about 42 hours. And even if these timepieces seem too elegant for exploring a coral reef, it’s good to know that they’re water resistant up to 100 meters.

MB&F launches the LM FlyingT in Malachite

The 14th year of MB&F unveiled a new avenue of horological exploration, an evolution of creative horizons for founder and company alike: the Legacy Machine FlyingT, first launched in 2019, is the first of MB&F’s three-dimensional horological art pieces dedicated to women. A round case in gold or platinum, with a steeply cambered bezel and slender, elongated lugs, often fully set with diamonds. A high, extravagantly convex dome of sapphire crystal rises from the bezel. Three new references followed in 2020, first shedding its diamonds with limited editions in red gold and platinum, featuring guilloche dial plates; and in an 18k white gold case adorned with diamonds, with a deep blue lapis lazuli dial plate. In 2021, LM FlyingT adds a new dial plate in vivid green malachite.

H. Moser & Cie presents the Heritage Perpetual Calendar Midnight Blue Enamel

In creating the Heritage line, H. Moser & Cie. took inspiration from the watches that evoke the brand's history from 1828 to the present day, and specifically those dating from the early 20th century. The distinctive classicism of the Heritage Perpetual Calendar Midnight Blue Enamel is evident not only in its rounded case, but also in the notched crown and Grand Feu enamel dial, brought to life by the Roman numerals and the swallow-tail hands. Every aspect of this exceptional piece has been created to exude elegance and refinement, with details such as the fine lugs and a railroad minute track enhancing its traditional character. And, because tradition at H. Moser & Cie. never means dull or fusty, behind the classic façade of this watch lies an emphatically irreverent aesthetic, as revealed by the Heritage Perpetual Calendar Midnight Blue Enamel's deep blue dial, which brings the entire design to life. It is available in a limited edition of 20 pieces.

The UR-220 SL Asimov by URWERK

Stealth spaceship by day, luminescent installation by night, the UR-220 SL Asimov is the third variation of the 220 collection. Under the impetus of designer and URWERK co-founder Martin Frei, the model has undergone subtle changes in materials, colours, finishes and aesthetic characteristics. Against a predominantly black carbon backdrop, the UR-220 revisits a fascinating play on contrasts and luminosity. The UR-220 SL Asimov indicates the time by means of luminous truncated pyramid-type hour transporters. The cube shape featured in previous versions of the UR-220 resulted from meticulous work on URWERK's CNC machines. In this iteration, these elements free of any sharp edges are cast from a silicon mould and hand-adjusted to ensure their perfect finish. Their degree of hardness at the end of the process is close to that of ceramic.

Roberto Coin introduces Princess Flower Collection

The small diamond flower used to decorate the pieces in Princess collection has been re-elaborated to take center stage in these blossoming jewels. From an ornamental detail, the flower has grown and bloomed, just as it would in nature. The twisted thread that characterizes all of the family of Princess jewels is present in the internal structure of every flower, constructed like a veritable three-dimensional frame that supports the corolla, made of gold and precious stones that show off all of its nuances. Making the Princess Flower jewels requires a perfect balance of the technology used to develop the internal structure of the pieces and the hands of the artisans who assemble the flowers, one by one, and decorate their petals.
