"Cartier's immersive event ‘Into the Wild’, celebrating the enduring legacy of La Panthère"

Guests of Cartier were treated to an unforgettable evening at the Dubai Design District (d3), a member of TECOM Group PJSC. The Maison took over the district, drenching it in its signature red hue and paying homage to its timeless symbol of power and femininity, the Panthère. The event, titled Into the Wild, was a truly immersive experience, nestled be-tween the district's buildings and offering breathtaking views of the Burj Khalifa as a stunning backdrop. From sound to light and tempo, the show's four exquisite acts transported the audience through the wonders of La Panthère's universe, captivating their senses and leaving them spellbound. Throughout the evening, Friends of the Maison took to the stage, embodying the different phases of La Panthère's century-long evolution. 
 

Chaumet reopens its Olaya Boutique

On 3 February 2023, after several months of renovation, the Chaumet boutique in Olaya reopened its doors to the public, revealing a modernist setting for lovers of jewellery. Dedicated to a selection of High Jewellery and the Maison’s emblematic collections, this contemporary boutique offers a unique entry into the world of Chaumet. Progressing through the light-bathed spaces, multitudes of precious details emerge to provide an airy backdrop to the jewellery creations. Merging past and present, the boutique represents an immersion in an intimate and refined atmosphere with modernist accents, where the Maison’s symbolic references dialogue with artistic contributions. Blending tradition and modernity, it revisits the spirit of 12 Vendôme with a sense of purity and lightness, while echoing the energy that epitomises the Middle East.
 

BOVET 1822 introduces The Journey of Time book in celebration of its 200th Anniversary

To celebrate the 200th Anniversary of BOVET, the House proudly introduced The Journey of Time book. Featuring an introduction by owner Mr. Pascal Raffy, this luxurious 240-page book celebrates the past, present, and future of this important House. With chapters covering the history of the House, historical advertising, modern BOVET, and a look toward the next 200 years, this expansive volume is the first to include historic and contemporary timepieces in the same publication. To celebrate the House’s bicentennial, BOVET 1822 curated, for the first time anywhere in the world, a historical exhibit of 50+ timepieces representing the entire 200 years.

Jacob & Co. launches Billionaire Double Tourbillon

Launched in 2015 as a unique piece, Billionaire, first of the name, was an unheard-of timepiece. Created as a bespoke project, it had taken several years to craft. With 424 diamonds totaling 161 ct, Billionaire II took the initial concept even further by showing Jacob & Co.'s unique expertise in selecting and telling a story with gem-setting language. Its movement ended up under a particular spotlight as its filigree structure was set with 57 baguette-cut diamonds, another unprecedented feat. This paved the way for Billionaire III, whose 714 white baguette-cut diamonds gave way to a limited edition of 18 pieces. Billionaire III Diamonds and Rubies opened yet another door in the collection's repertoire with a flange, movement and crown set with a total of 134 rubies. This unique piece introduced a hint of color in the hugely successful series.

WJMES 2023 concludes with record-breaking success at Expo Centre Sharjah

The 51st edition of the Watch and Jewellery Middle East Show (WJMES) concluded on 12th March at the Expo Centre Sharjah (ECS) with resounding success. The event, which was held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, was supported by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) and saw many records broken over the course of five days. The event drew over 500 major gold and jewellery makers and traders from around the world, turning Sharjah into a global meeting place. With over 66,000 visitors, the event experienced a 25% increase from the previous edition. On the final day of the exhibition, the organizers announced the names of six lucky winners who received valuable prizes, including 1 kg of gold, rings, and a necklace featuring some of the world's most luxurious diamonds.
