WatchTime New York ends seventh year on high with 32 brands and over 1,900 attendees

Preeminent luxury watch collector show WatchTime New York welcomed over 1,900 attendees to Gotham Hall in Midtown Manhattan from October 21-23. The three-day event offered the rare chance to browse the latest timepieces from 32 watch brands and interact with the makers and movers that shape the booming luxury watch industry today. Now the anchor of New York City’s unofficial watch week, the upscale show has become a staple of New York City’s fall event calendar and one of the world’s most unique collector-driven luxury events. The 32 brand exhibitors this year also included Arnold & Son, Blancpain, Breguet, Bremont, Chopard, Carl F. Bucherer, G-Shock, Massena Lab, MB&F, Montblanc, Oris, Parmigiani Fleurier, Seiko, Voutilainen, among others.

Jacob & Co. celebrates the 50th anniversary of The Godfather movie in Sicily

In Sicily, in the footsteps of the Godfather's shooting locations, Jacob & Co. celebrates the 50th Anniversary of the iconic movie, presenting its emblematic triple-axis, flying tourbillon and music box watch. Benjamin Arabov, CEO of Jacob & Co. with the presence of Jacob Arabo and Gianni Russo, American actor, best known for his role as Carlo Rizzi in the 1972 film The Godfather, received many guests at a party organized in the property of Michael Corleone in Sicily, a “castello” that has remained intact since the filming of the movie in 1971. The Opera Godfather 50th Anniversary is a 50-piece limited series, a striking cinematic, graphic and musical recollection of Francis Ford Coppola's cult classic that surpasses every previous iteration.
