Saudi Arabia Launches 48-Hour Visa Package for Six Countries
Saudi Arabia has introduced the first phase of its new Visa Package, allowing eligible travellers from Jordan, Egypt, India, Bangladesh, Indonesia and Mexico to obtain a tourist visa electronically within 48 hours. The streamlined initiative combines a single-entry tourist visa, round-trip flights and accommodation at licensed hotels into one digital booking process through authorised travel providers. Valid for three months, the visa permits stays from two to 88 days. Travellers receive their visa, travel insurance and travel documents via email, eliminating the need to visit a Saudi embassy and simplifying travel planning to the Kingdom. |

Dubai's economy continued its steady growth in the first quarter of 2026, with Gross Domestic Product (GDP) reaching Dhs232 billion, up 2.4% year-on-year.
