OMEGA TV spot welcomes golf back to the Olympic Games

Golf will be reintroduced as an Olympic discipline at the Rio de Janeiro 2016 Olympic Games. OMEGA, known both for its role as Official Olympic Timekeeper and as a leading supporter of international golf, has created a television commercial to welcome the sport back to the Olympic Games. The TV spot will be aired from September 27^th, notably on CNN, BBC World News, CNBC, CCTV 5 among others.

Reunification of Germany and A. Lange & Sohne

The fall of the Berlin Wall on November 9, 1990 was the most pivotal event in the lead up to Germany's reunification 20 years ago. Sebastien Loeb claims seventh World Rally Championship crown

Sebastien Loeb has claimed a record-breaking seventh World Rally Championship crown with his sixtieth career victory on Rallye de France. Sebastian has not only a set historical record for the number of titles in WRC but also for the number of titles won simultaneously in a motorsport competition. The new Loeb Special Edition Sports Watch will be revealed in November 2010.

Sotheby’s Hong Kong reaches US$7.14 million sale

Sotheby’s Hong Kong’s sale of Important Watches totalled US$7.14 million (Est. US$5.7-7.7 million), establishing Sotheby’s highest-ever total for a various owners sale of Important Watches. The auction was 79.9% sold by lot and 85.8% by value. Leading the sale was a Greubel Forsey platinum double tourbillon wristwatch.

GJEPC announces new Chairman

The 2010 edition of the BOVET Italia Classica celebrates the 80^th anniversary of Pininfarina and the centenary of Alfa Romeo. The event brought together, for an entire week, a finest collection of vintage cars originating from all four corners of the globe including the famous Lancia Flaminia designed by Pininfarina and presented in March 1960 to the President of the Repubblica Italiana of the time, Giovanni Gronchi.
