Dubai Design District welcomes Chalhoub Group.

The Dubai Design and Fashion Council has partnered with Chalhoub Group, the franchise partner of luxury brands like Louis Vuitton and Fendi in Middle East, in a move to develop local and regional talent. The Chalhoub Group will offer its expertise to designers in a wide array of topics to help them become competitive on both a national and global scale, the DDFC said in a recent statement.

The Prix Omega Scientifique award revealed.

Aimed at encouraging scientific and technical research, each year honouring a thesis in the field of micro- and nanotechnologies, physical electronics, condensed matter physics or chronometry, the Prix Omega Scientifique was awarded by Professor Pierre-André Farine, president of the Fondation du Prix Omega, to Dr Csaba Azau.
