Djula announces Ahood Alenezi as the face of the brand

Djula, the Parisian jewelry brand, is proud to announce friend of the house and luxury Kuwaiti content creator, Ahood Alenezi, as the new regional brand ambassador. The new face of the Parisian jewellery house, Ahood channels the fierce, youthful spirit of the brand, conveying the very same sense of boldness that has distinguished the French studio, over the last two decades, as a force of glam-rock chic. Djula’s collaboration with Ahood extends its presence in the region, following the launch of its first UAE stand-alone store, Djula Paris, in Dubai Mall, which includes a piercing atelier led by world renowned piercing expert. BIANCHET reaches the podium at the Spa 24 Hours Race in Belgium

The suspense was incredible at the prestigious Spa 24 Hours endurance race in Belgium. BIANCHET was there to cheer their friend, racing driver Stefano Costantini, who won the Pro-Am 24 Hours of Spa in Belgium with his AF Corse GT3 team. The determination of Stefano Costantini's team was put to the toughest test. Although they had secured a pole position during the qualifications, Stefano and his 3 teammates* were forced to start in last position due to unexpected technical problems at the eleventh hour. Passionate about his sport, elegant and well-balanced in his life as a driver and in his private life, passionate about beautiful things, and a watch collector, Stefano truly epitomises the values of BIANCHET: style, Italian elegance combined with fair play and respect.

Hema Malini, Member of Parliament inaugurates the 38th edition of India International Jewellery Show (IIJS) Premiere 2022

GJEPC, the apex body of the gem & jewellery trade in India had its flagship show IIJS premiere 2022. The show was inaugurated by Ms. Hema Malini, Member of Parliament along with Colin Shah, Chairman, GJEPC; Vipul Shah, Vice Chairman, GJEPC; Shailesh Sangani, Convener, National Exhibitions, GJEPC; and Sabyasachi Ray, Executive Director, GJEPC amongst others. The show was held from 4th to 8th August at Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai. In terms of the number of exhibitors and visitors, IIJS is touted as one of the largest shows in the world with more than 1790 exhibitors showcasing their exquisite gems & jewellery, and spread over 74497+ square metres of exhibition area. The show has more than 37000 pre-registered trade visitors, including 1200 international visitors from 885+ cities in India and 80+ countries.

 

Deepika Padukone Graces GJEPC’s ‘Jewellers for Hope’ Charity Dinner

The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) organised the 7th edition of its charity dinner ‘Jewellers for Hope’ in association with World Gold Council and De Beers, and Powered by GIA. As every year, this year too, the event raised Rs. 1 Crore from Jewellers. The proceeds of the charity dinner were donated to leading Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone’s foundation Live Love Laugh (LLL) that strives to raise awareness about mental health issues and assists those in need. Deepika Padukone personally attended this event on behalf of LLL and spoke about the organisation and the impact it has created in India. This charity dinner was hosted on 4th August at Grand Hyatt, Mumbai.
