Vicenzaoro celebrates Dubai partners
During Vicenzaoro September 2023 edition, ongoing until today, September 12th , the partnership between the two cities of gold was celebrated with the presentation of the UAE AWARDS to 40 historic companies in the Dubai gold souk for their ten-year loyalty to the Vicenza event and their role as ambassadors of made in Italy gold jewellery. An industry that boasts the second largest Italian export to the Emirates. Promoted by Vicenzaoro in partnership with Maria De Toni Srl and under the patronage of DGJG - Dubai Gold & Jewellery Group, the event was attended, among others, by Claudia Piaserico, President of Confindustria Federorafi, Franco Conzato, Director of Venice Promex, Maria Loretta De Toni, Owner of Maria De Toni, Michela Amenduni, Marketing Manager J&F at IEG and Marco Carniello, Global Exhibition Director J&F at IEG. A strategic hub for jewellery and a gateway to the EMEA and South Asian markets, Dubai will host JGTD from 6th to 8th February 2024, a sourcing show generated from the joint venture between IEG and Informa Markets and organised in partnership with DMCC and DGJG. |

Sotheby’ unveils Treasures from the Most Important Viennese Imperial and Royal Jewellery Collection ever to come to Auction
This November, Sotheby’s is pleased to present Vienna 1900: An Imperial and Royal Collection, the most important and largest Viennese Imperial and Royal Jewellery collection ever to come to auction. With provenance from all the most prominent European royal houses linked to the Austrian Habsburg dynasty, the auction will offer an extraordinary jewellery journey through the lives of Central Europe’s most influential ruling families across the 19th and early 20th centuries. Comprising over 200 pieces, the collection resurfaces, astonishingly pristine and with all its pieces in their original design, for the first time in nearly a century, having only been recently discovered hidden away in a bank vault. |

Frederique Constant presents its 31st Manufacture calibre
Frederique Constant has unveiled its thirty-first Manufacture calibre, the FC-735, in a brand new creation: the Classic Power Reserve Big Date Manufacture. Housed in a 40mm case, this innovative movement produced by the Geneva-based firm in its 35th anniversary year boasts three complications: power reserve, big date and moon phase. Four editions are introduced. The first two, featuring a platinum case and meteorite dial or a rose gold case and grey anthracite dial, come in limited editions of 35 and 350 respectively. The two others, with a steel case and a blue or silver dial, will form part of the firm’s standard collection.

Gerald Charles introduces the MAESTRO Skeleton Rose Gold
Maison Gerald Charles has introduced the Maestro 8.0 Squelette in Rose Gold with a Stoned Grey vulcanised rubber strap, Ref. GC8.0-RG-06. Following the great success of the first skeleton watch launched in 2022, the Maestro 8.0 Squelette in Rose Gold has been designed by the Maison’s Creative Director Octavio Garcia and features the iconic Maestro case and signature vulcanised rubber strap, both of which are from Mr. Gérald Charles Genta’s original drawings. For the Maestro case, Mr. Genta took inspiration from a 17th century Roman monument designed by Francesco Borromini, whose shape is the result of a square and an octagon with the “smile” at 6 o’clock. The watch case is composed by 35 components, it has an overall fit of 40mm and a thickness of just 8.35mm. |

Building on its partnership with King of the Court (KOTC), Maurice Lacroix unites its urban-themed design language with the dynamic sport of Beach volleyball and #tide sustainability, all distilled into one groundbreaking package. The new AIKON #tide KOTC is dressed in a stealthy shade of black and incorporates golden accents, a stylish combination inspired by the KOTC colour scheme. Close examination of the dial reveals a motif comprising numerous iterations of the KOTC crown-themed emblem. The hour and minute hands, as well as the indexes, are dressed in white Super-LumiNova®. A minute track is presented on a golden flange encircling the dial while the prevailing date is shown at 3 o’clock. The case and bezel are understated, designed to play a deferential role to the detailed dial area headlining on the centre court. |

Presenting Milan Collection by Aerowatch
Following the successful launch of its latest "Milan" line last November at the Beyer Museum in Zurich, Aerowatch is enriching its collection with new colors for each season. Haute Jewels Geneva announces new 2024 Dates and added Location
Haute Jewels Geneva 2024 will take place from 8th April – 15th April. In 2024, the event will expand to two locations in Geneva: The Fairmont Grand Hotel and The InterContinental Hotel. The expansion will allow the addition of more global fine jewellery brands to the event, increasing the capacity by over 50%. All twenty-three luxury jewellery brands who participated in the 2023 event will be returning for the 2024 edition. A full list of new participating brands will be announced in due course. |
