Swiss Watch Federation on a visit to Iran

Johann SchneiderAmmann, President of the Swiss Confederation visited Teheran recently to recover the economic and commercial relations between the two countries, since the lifting of sanctions against Iran. The FH took part in order to complete the watchmaking activities in the country. In spite of difficult environment, the watch market in Iran continues to function.

BMW and Montblanc present “Montblanc for BMW” Special Edition

To mark the launch of the BMW 7 Series, Montblanc introduces BMW Special Edition, which has created a collection of personalized leather goods and writing instruments inspired by the spirit of innovation and the tradition of sophistication shared by the brand and the carmaker. The centerpiece of the collection is the Meisterstück key case, which has been specially moulded to house the “BMW Display Key”. The items in this collection are all hand-made in the Pelletteria Montblanc, the leather goods manufactory based in Florence. The chic and timeless aesthetic of the Meisterstück collection is enhanced by the unique motif of the BMW Series 7 stamped on each piece.

Vacheron Constantin unveils the Maître Cabinotier retrograde armillary Tourbillon model. The calibre 1990 is electro-plated with an NAC treatment in a dark anthracite colour creating a mirror-polished effect. On the dial side the movement displays its modern architecture with sharply cut bridges tempered by a sunburst satin finish and Geneva stripes. The strap is black Mississippiensis alligator leather, saddle-finish, large square scales, Clasp is of white gold triple-blade folding with polished half Maltese cross-shaped.

Ollivier Saveo unveils Racer timepiece

The exclusive tourbillon Caliber OS-T01 features a distinctive L-Shape. Presiding over the dial, the hand painted racer is in palladium white gold. The design elements of the tourbillon cage confer a sportive touch: scale with superluminova indexes and upper bridge with red-superluminova. On the hour and minute ring, the applied indexes bear red superluminova and the dotted hour markers are in superluminova. The case is available in Titanium or carbon fiber. The buckle is double folding clasp, steel.
