Vacheron Constantin opens its flagship boutique at The Dubai Mall. Vacheron Constantin’s new space in the Dubai Mall is elegant and intended to reflect the brand’s commitment to luxury.  The new boutique features a VIP room for special visitors to peruse the selection privately. This is the second boutique for the brand in Dubai. Vacheron Constantin operates another boutique at the Mall of the Emirates.

LVMH Watches and Jewelry Group recorded a +10% during the first half of 2015

LVMH Mo?t Hennessy Louis Vuitton (LVMH) comprise Bulgari, TAG Heuer, Dior Watches, Zenith, Chaumet,  Fred, Hublot and De Beers Diamond Jewellers ltd- reported that its Watches and Jewelry business group recorded an organic revenue growth of 10 perc in the first half of 2015. Overall, LVMH recorded a 19-percent increase in first half 2015 revenue to €16.7 billion ($18.4 billion) while during the second quarter of 2015, revenue increased by 23 percent, to €1.55 billion ($1.71 billion), up from €1.266 billion ($1.39 billion) in the same period in 2014. The company said Bvlgari showed strong growth in its results, while TAG Heuer restructured its focus on core offering.

Kering posted 17% increase in revenue during first half of 2015

Kering posted revenue of €5,512.5 million in first-half 2015, up 17%. According to Kering recent financial statement, the exchange rate fluctuations during the six months had a positive impact on revenue and sales growth in mature markets was once again up by 5.5% based on comparable data that was driven by Western Europe and Japan, while sales in emerging markets were stable. Among the group brands, the best performers were Yves Saint Laurent and Bottega Vaneta while revenue generated outside the Eurozone accounted for 79% of total consolidated revenue in first-half 2015.

Jewellery industries shines at the India International Jewellery week in Mumbai

The ongoing success of India International Jewellery Week (IIJW) is a good indicator of how the efforts of the Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), an apex body of the trade, to promote India as the “Innovate and Design Destination” for jewellery has paid off. At the same time Bollywood star Sonam Kapoor, the IIJW brand ambassador, startled the audience by wearing some exclusive pieces by design houses. The gem and jewellery industry, considered as the bright star of the Indian economy occupies a major segment of the country’s exports and has shown remarkable growth over the last four decades. The UAE (28 per cent), Hong Kong (31 per cent) and USA (21 per cent) are among the major buyers.

The Sirius Artist Régulateur Jumping Hour model has also been refined with the addition of dials hand-decorated with guilloche à main and enamel.
