Swatch Group Posts 7% Sales Drop and Lower Profit in H1 2025

In the first half of 2025, the Group faced a 7.1% drop in net sales at constant exchange rates compared to the previous year, largely due to weak consumption in China and Southeast Asia, and a more than 30% decline in wholesale business in Greater China. However, markets like the USA, Mexico, Canada, and India showed strong double-digit growth, and e-commerce sales also saw a significant increase. The Group continued investing in brand marketing and launched several innovative products, including Omega’s ultra-thin Aqua Terra for women and Tissot’s solar-powered PRC 100. Swatch is also set to unveil AI-DADA, an artistic AI tool enabling customers to create one-of-a-kind personalized watches.
