Saudi International Luxury Week to take place in May 2023
Saudi International Luxury Week is taking place next month, with the Kingdom’s second city Jeddah seeing its first edition being held following the huge success of its sister event in Riyadh. The events are designed to create a platform for conversation in the luxury jewellery space and are the largest of their kind to ever be held in the Kingdom, with the Riyadh edition tripling in size this year.
Open to the public, Jeddah International Luxury Week will run from 8-10 May 2023 at the Jeddah Hilton, followed by Riyadh International Luxury Week from 16-19 May at Al Faisaliah Hotel.
With over 120 international jewellery names exhibiting fine and high jewellery collections including standout, multi-million dollar pieces in both cities, Saudi International Luxury Week will showcase the best in exquisite gemstones, creativity, heritage and savoir-faire, and offer a unique opportunity for jewellers to share their craft with discerning Saudi Arabian clientele.
Participating brands include fabled family high jewellery maison Moussaieff Jewellers, bespoke gemstone artisans ITCO Jewelry of New York, Parisian watchmaker Charles Oudin, innovative Italian jeweller Ferri Firenze, pearl experts Yoko London, Middle Eastern Nsouli and edgy yet elegant designers AWKN1, amongst others.
The events will also see a host of interactive seminars and experiences on offer, including a series of educational talks. The Jeddah event will see Middle Eastern jewellery experts address current topics such as the Art of Jewellery Making to Design Trends and Sustainability, and in Riyadh, DANAT - Bahrain Institute for Pearls and Gemstones, will touch on the sourcing of Gemstones, the History of Pearls, and the world of Diamonds.

Breitling Riyadh Boutique hosts evening with first Saudi Ironman Champion
Breitling Middle East hosted an exclusive evening with Dr. Dina Al Tayeb, the first Saudi Arabian to complete an Ironman distance race in 2005 and the first Arab female to qualify and complete the world championship ironman race in Hawaii. The event took place at Breitling’s boutique in Olaya Towers Riyadh with around 20 guests from the Saudi triathlon community. A successful Periodontologist, triathlete and mother of three, Dina is an inspiration to women who want to follow their dreams. Dina’s partnership with Breitling stems from the brand’s long-term collaboration with IRONMAN Triathlon, by which Breitling is the official timekeeper and sponsor of the triathlon series. As part of their collaboration, Breitling and IRONMAN have co-designed the Endurance Pro IRONMAN watches, a special series of Breitling’s ultimate athleisure watch. |

Cartier announces the 33 fellows for the 2023 edition of the Cartier Women’s Initiative
Since 2006, the Cartier Women’s Initiative has helped women impact entrepreneurs to reach their full potential by shinning a light on their achievements and providing them with the necessary financial, social, and human capital support to grow their business and further build their leadership skills. The program is open to women-run and women-owned businesses from any country and sector that aim to have a strong and sustainable positive impact on society as defined by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. For the 2023 edition, Cartier is further increasing its commitment by introducing new regional and thematic awards to its outstanding program, while also increasing its grant funding and raising the total number of fellows to 33.

ZENITH welcomes DJ & Multimedia Creative “Klaus” as its newest friend of the brand

Klaus began his journey in his early teen years, where his passion for music pushed him to begin composing and recording electronic music. Messika releases its Brand Campaign 2023 featuring Kendall Jenner and Alton Mason

Buccellati takes part to Milan Design Week 2023
Following the successful debut at the 2022 edition, the historic high jewellery maison Buccellati, returns to Milan Design Week 2023 with the exhibition "Buccellati Rosso Maraviglia", hosted on the large Portaluppi terrace of its Via Brisa’s headquarters. The installation, conceived by the multidisciplinary studio AMDL CIRCLE and the Architect Michele De Lucchi, transforms the terrace into a modern Pantheon enclosing a magical garden of wonders in a red envelope. An opportunity to celebrate two great Italian arts, that of silver and glass, while offering visitors the opportunity to maravigliarsi (marvel themselves), simply put, to rediscover their ability to admire beauty. In addition to the silver table accessories by Buccellati, the new collection developed in collaboration with Venini, the historic Italian company and master in the art of glass, will be unveiled. The exhibition, curated by Federica Sala, will also include a botanical art installation by the artist Lily Kwong. |

6th edition GemGenève - Automata & Music exhibition featuring the Museum of Art and History (MAH) collection
In partnership with GemGenève, the Museum of Art and History (MAH) is organising an off-site exhibition at the event featuring exceptional automata and other musical and artistic objets d’art from its collections. With a policy of promoting art and culture dating back to the eighteenth century, Geneva’s Museum of Art and History is now a leading museum. 25 small to medium-sized works of art created at the turn of the nineteenth century will be exhibited by the MAH in an exclusive, temporary display open to GemGenève visitors. The show will also feature works on loan from the International Museum of Horology at La Chaux-de-Fonds, Swiss sculptor and automaton maker François Junod, and GemGenève exhibitors. Following on from the previous three exhibitions organised at GemGenève, this collaborative display illustrates the organisers’ desire to highlight the wealth of the heritage of jewellery and its related arts and crafts. The GemGenève exhibition will be held from 11 - 14 May 2023 at Palexpo Hall 1. |
