Forbes Middle East recently celebrates the best-performing companies in the region and revealed the highly anticipated ranking of the Top Companies in the Arab World 2015. Paris Gallery ranks no. 34 in the list of the top 100. The luxury retailer also ranks no. 10 among the list of UAE companies and no. 1 among those from the luxury retail sector. Following the awards ceremony, the month’s edition of Forbes Middle East which includes a Paris Gallery cover-story, titled ‘From Paris to Baghdad’ was revealed on stage to an elite audience by none other than His Excellency Mohammed Abdul Rahim Al Fahim, CEO of Paris Gallery Group of Companies.

Ulysse Nardin supports as the timekeeper for the 2015 Yachting Premiere in Beirut

The Official Timekeeper of British Polo Day, Jaeger-LeCoultre supports the event. The iconic Reverso watch was also part of the Brand’s highlights including the new Grande Reverso 1931 Seconde Centrale. At the official British Polo Day USA prize-giving, the superb bespoke British silverware-designed Land Rover Will Rogers Plate was presented by Lord and Lady Frederick Windsor to winners, Royal Salute Will Rogers Polo Club while the triumphant Justerini & Brooks British Schools team then took to the podium to claim British Silverware’s Hackett Bossom Cup.

Vacheron Constantin unveils UltraMarine Blue limited edition

The Vacheron Constantin presents UltraMarine Blue editions of the Overseas feature a choice of two straps: a blue rubber and blue Mississippiensis alligator leather strap, both mounted on a stainless steel triple blade folding clasp. This UltraMarine Blue limited editions concern two watches of the collection. The first one is the Dual-Time and the second edition with an UltraMarine Blue dial is based on the simple but plain Automatic Time-Date Overseas. Both are sharing the same stainless steel case and a solid screwed case-back, stamped with the “Overseas” medallion. The two editions are using the same base caliber.

Ulysse Nardin Makes a Splash with New Addition to Black Sea Collection. The Black Sea is highly durable with an athletic structure presenting a stainless steel case coated with vulcanized rubber and a rubber strap with two ceramic elements and folding clasp for enhanced sturdiness. Other important elements of the watch include: a unidirectional turning bezel, a rubberized screw crown. Linde Werdelin introduces the SpidoSpeed Titanium

Linde Werdelin presents the SpidoSpeed Titanium; its monochromatic palette is reminiscent of the first series of SpidoSpeed – the SpidoSpeed Steel and SpidoSpeed Black DLC. The small details extend into the design itself that is a small “R” on the 6 o’clock chronograph sub-dial. The case skeletonised and the dial has been stripped back to its outer edge and the exposed LW06 movement. The monochrome tones of its microbillé, satin and polished facets make it the ideal choice for this SpidoSpeed Titanium.

TAG Heuer presents TAG Heuer Formula 1 chronograph

To mark the 30th of the partnership between TAG Heuer and McLaren, TAG Heuer releases a numbered limited edition of the TAG Heuer Formula 1 chronograph in red colour. "Rocket Red", to be precise; the tomato red inspired by McLaren's 1985 campaign. It can be found on the aluminium bezel which features the tachometer function, engraved with McLaren. It is featured on the Rocket Red and Black NATO strap. These three small snailed counters contrast with the opaline black dial, giving an impression of speed as they reflect back the light.

Jaquet Droz records sale at Sotheby’s watch auction in New York

Jaquet Droz records sale for a Singing Bird Scent Flask; this exceptional automaton was one of the centerpiece of Sotheby’s watch auction in New York. It has been sold for $2,530,000 breaking a new record for a Jaquet Droz antique piece. The automaton features an articulated ivory bird which is accompanied by a highly intricate, miniature organ to replicate the bird’s song. The superbly-decorated and constructed scent flask is covered in enamel and jewels.
