Salon des Grandes Complications returns to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Salon des Grandes Complications will return to Jeddah and Riyadh for the 3rd consecutive time to welcome watch lovers and watch connoisseurs in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The SDGC will debut in Jeddah at the Jeddah Hilton Hotel from 8 to 11 April and move on to Riyadh from 15 to 18 April at Al Faisaliah Hotel Riyadh.
Among the international brands present at Salon des Grandes Complications are Bell & Ross, Blancpain, Breguet, Breitling, Fabergé, Girard-Perregaux, Greubel Forsey, Harry Winston, Montblanc, TAG Heuer, Ulysse Nardin and Zenith. Reward mechanical masterpieces will be displayed at “SDGC” encompassing the newest innovations, historical savoir-faire and inimitable craftsmanship.
The Arabian Connoisseurs Majles is a new concept to be introduced for the first time at SDGC Riyadh edition. This concept is designed to create an open dialogue between watch collectors and watch lovers, and the exhibiting brands. The Salon des Grandes Complications is held with the support of the Embassy of Switzerland in Saudi Arabia and in partnership with Bentley Motors who will reveal several new models.

Baselworld in a spirit of optimism.
Baselworld closed its doors after six busy days. Michel Loris-Melikoff, Managing Director of Baselworld, emphasised at the closing press conference that 2019 was a year of transition for Baselworld.
Michel Loris-Melikoff reported 520 brands exhibited at Baselworld 2019. 81,200 visitors attended this year’s edition of the show, 22% fewer than in 2018. At 3,300, the number of media representatives present was slightly down on previous years. The show director is confident that the turnaround has begun with this year’s edition and the outlook for 2020. Numerous exhibitors from all industry segments, who spoke at the press conference via video clips, also reported good business transactions.

The LITTLE LANGE 1 “25th Anniversary”
On the occasion of the 25th birthday of the LANGE 1 that was introduced in 1994, its little sibling now comes in a special edition as well. In a limited edition of 25 pieces, it is now available in white gold with a blue printed argenté-coloured dial. Even the relief-engraved number “25” that graces the balance cock as a reminder of the anniversary is blue. The blue hand-stitched alligator leather strap with a contrasting seam in grey is a tasteful match for this watch. |

HAUTLENCE is presenting its eighth manufacture calibre by launching an exceptional timepiece: the HL SPHERE. A blue sphere occupies the left-hand portion of the case, magnificently showcased by a sapphire crystal with a small dome. It features twelve engraved numerals and rotates on itself through three rotation axes to reveal the current hour. Bell & Ross launches BR 03-92 Diver Green Bronze watch.
The BR 03-92 Diver Bronze Green Watch is powered by the BL-CAL. 301 Automatic movement based off the Selitta SW300. The dial is green with gold-plated applied indices that have been filled with Super-LumiNova. The hands also are gold-plated but they have been skeletonized and lumed down the middle.
