New GIA Standards Draw Sharper Line Between Lab-Grown and Natural Diamonds
The Gemological Institute of America (GIA) is making a pivotal change to how it grades lab-grown diamonds, dropping the traditional 4Cs system in favor of simplified descriptors like “premium” or “standard,” or omitting grades altogether for lower-quality stones. This decision underscores a growing industry shift to clearly distinguish lab-grown diamonds from their natural counterparts. Far from being a mere terminology update, the move signals a deeper recognition that lab-grown and natural diamonds are fundamentally different and should be evaluated on separate terms. |

Beyond Jewelry: Chaumet's Commitment to Gold Traceability and Nature
As a source of inspiration, a fertile ground for creativity and a provider of treasures, nature has been at the heart of the Chaumet identity since its founding over 240 years ago. Having benefitted from its rich bounty, the Maison is proud to return the favour by investing in nature conservation and continually deepening its commitment to this cause. Grounded in the present and simultaneously mindful of the challenges of tomorrow, it has significantly increased its initiatives over the years, enshrining its social and environmental responsibility policy in the LIFE 360 programme spearheaded by the LVMH group. These initiatives include a partnership with the Reforest’Action organisation, the transport of boutique decor by ship, and the management of the Maison’s carbon footprint, notably through the installation of smart meters and low-energy light bulbs in all boutiques.

Greubel Forsey Unveils the New GMT Balancier Convexe
Greubel Forsey has unveiled the new GMT Balancier Convexe. As the Earth takes centre stage within a newly reimagined amphitheatre, the hours, minutes, seconds, second time zone, and universal time indications become both companions and spectators to its quiet revolution. The new GMT Balancier Convexe replaces its predecessor entirely – not as a variation, but as a complete reinterpretation. With a redesigned case, an integrated power reserve, and enhanced ergonomics, it becomes the purest expression of our GMT complication to date – and the only GMT model in our current collection. This new creation preserves the iconic theatrical architecture of the original GMT Balancier Convexe, while refining its proportions and mechanical layout. |

Arnold & Son Introduces Nebula 40 Steel, Blue Edition
Elegant in its symmetry. Refined in its detail. Relevant in its strong horological focus. Nebula 40 Steel is a one-of-a-kind skeleton timepiece in which Arnold & Son combines style and substance, movement and design. The star-shaped arrangement of its seven bridges and even its name, Nebula, create a coherent system: the radiating concept that governs the form of Nebula 40 Steel and determines its structure, topography and depth. Following the launch of Nebula 40 Steel in black and a golden edition celebrating 260 years of John Arnold’s legacy, a blue version is joining the variations on this skeletonised timepiece. Radiating towards the centre, the bridges are arranged around the edge of the main plate, itself formed of intersecting curves. |

H. Moser & Cie. X Alpine Motorsports
When H. Moser & Cie. partnered with Alpine in 2024, it wasn’t just about branding - it was about true collaboration. Instead of the typical logo swaps and color tweaks, the two pioneers aimed for an authentic, engineering-led partnership. To coincide with the Spanish Formula 1 Grand Prix, H. Moser & Cie. is unveiling two creations developed in close collaboration with Alpine Motorsports: the Streamliner Alpine Drivers Edition, a mechanical chronograph powered by a skeleton version of the AgenGraphe movement, and the Streamliner Alpine Mechanics Edition, the first watch specifically designed to meet the needs of a Formula 1 team. One is at the heart of watchmaking tradition, while the other is a digital showcase, integrating cutting-edge connected technology. |

LAURENT FERRIER presents Sport Auto 79
With this new edition of the Sport Auto, LAURENT FERRIER far transcends the simple reiteration of a timepiece. To mark the brand's 15th anniversary, this Sport Auto 79 pays tribute to a timeless moment, an understated victory etched into history. That moment was the podium at the 1979 Le Mans 24 Hours. That victory – third place in the overall rankings – forever sealed the fate of the two founders and set in motion the watchmaking odyssey we know today. This new Sport Auto 79 perpetuates a seminal memory and captures the essence of a trophy that was as unseen as it was decisive. In the end, it is the embodiment of a turning point in life, a transition from one passion to another. The cream-coloured dial, with its opaline finish that imparts a powdery texture, is the result of a galvanic treatment that gives the surface a rose-silver hue.
