Richemont Sales Up 17% in Middle East and Africa During Q1 2025
At constant exchange rates, Group sales in the quarter ended 30 June 2025 rose by 6% in a volatile global macroeconomic and geopolitical context. The growth was led by double digit increases in Europe, the Americas and Middle East & Africa, more than offsetting Japan’s sales decline against high prior-year comparatives; sales in the Asia Pacific region remained stable. In Europe, sales grew by 11%, driven by robust demand from local clients and overall positive tourist spend, supported by successful high jewellery events. Almost all main markets in the region saw an increase in sales this quarter, with notable performances in Italy and Germany. In the Americas, sales growth remained strong at +17%, driven by supportive local demand across all business areas and markets. Sales in the Middle East & Africa region rose by 17%, led by the United Arab Emirates market as well as higher tourist spend. |

Van Cleef & Arpels Unveils New Boutique in Marina Mall, Abu Dhabi
Spanning 210 square meters, the boutique has been thoughtfully envisioned as an intimate, enchanting setting where the Maison’s craftsmanship and artistry can be discovered in comfort, through a personalized client experience. Located in one of Abu Dhabi’s distinguished retail destinations, the boutique’s exterior features a backlit metallic mesh fac¸ade. Its intricate motif, inspired by the texture of gold leaf, offers an interplay of light that elegantly bridges the Maison’s heritage with a contemporary sophistication. At the heart of the boutique, a fragrance console naturally guides the flow of movement, inviting guests to explore the Maison’s perfume collections, as an echo to the poetic sensibilities found throughout the space. It also features a dedicated “Poetic Salon”, an elegant room enveloped in soft rosy hues. |

FerriFirenze Presents Arte in Villa
FerriFirenze is pleased to unveil its latest initiative: Arte in Villa - a living laboratory of applied arts set within the historic ambiance of Villa Corsi Salviati. This project reflects the maison’s profound and lasting bond with art and craftsmanship. The exhibition, titled “Ciò che la primavera fa con i ciliegi”, borrows a verse from Pablo Neruda and explores the potent beauty of creative awakening - a symbolic rebirth that gives rise to uncharted forms, bold hues, and imaginative materials. Nature and humanity are presented as wild forces of artistic creation. Artists Hermine Bourdin, Duccio Maria Gambi, and Sara Ricciardi drew inspiration from the villa’s evocative surroundings and FerriFirenze’s extraordinary jewelry. The exhibition is open to visitors by appointment through September 26. |

Breitling Introduces the Erling Haaland Signature Chronomat
Breitling’s newest release is a celebration of both stellar materials and a star athlete. Co-designed with pro footballer Erling Haaland, the collection features two limited-edition models: the Chronomat Automatic GMT 40 in stainless steel and platinum, capped at 500 pieces, and the Chronomat B01 42 in 18k red gold, limited to just 250. Both models showcase meteorite dials—meaning no two watches are alike. Both Haaland Signature editions stay true to that spirit of technical mastery and visual impact. The Chronomat Automatic GMT 40 Erling Haaland features a meteorite dial set in a stainless-steel case with a platinum bezel, accented by a red-gold GMT hand and Haaland’s initials on the central seconds hand. The caseback is engraved “ONE OF 500” and “ERLING HAALAND 9” surrounding an engraving of Haaland in his signature goal-celebration pose.

Introducing the Globetrotter 42 Steel by Arnold & Son in Strand Blue and Greenwich Green
Arnold & Son is revisiting its Globetrotter collection to present a version that is at once more compact, slimmer and easier to read. With its new 42 mm diameter, the Globetrotter 42 Steel features a steel case and is available in two versions, one named ‘Strand Blue’, the other ‘Greenwich Green’, each available in a limited edition of 88 timepieces. This ultra-graphic dial has also undergone subtle changes that have made it visually more striking and technically even more effective for international travel. The structure retains its famous, delicately curved arched bridge – crafted from steel and worked by hand –which can be considered the signature feature of the collection. |

SAJEX – The World Gem & Jewellery Fair Launched in Saudi Arabia by GJEPC India
The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), the apex body of the gem and jewellery trade in India, in collaboration with the Embassy of India in Riyadh and the Consulate General of India in Jeddah, successfully launched SAJEX – The Saudi Arabia Jewellery Exposition through a two-city Curtain Raiser Events held in Jeddah on 6th July and Riyadh on 8th July 2025. The twin events saw an overwhelming response from over 280 key Saudi stakeholders (160+ attendees in Jeddah and 120+ in Riyadh) - including top retailers, wholesalers, and manufacturers - who turned up in large numbers. SAJEX 2025 will take place from 11th to 13th September 2025 at the iconic Jeddah Superdome. The event is being organised by the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), with the support of the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India; Embassy of India in Riyadh; the Consulate General of India in Jeddah; and the Dubai Jewellery Group. |
