However, the history of Bovet actually started many years earlier, when Jean-Frédéric Bovet, a renowned Swiss Watchmaker, took the decision to send his watchmaker sons, Frédéric, Alphonse, and Edouard, to London, to officially register their house as a London-operating business.

TAG Heuer Monaco Calibre 02 “Grand Prix de Monaco Historique” Edition
As a tribute to the iconic Grand Prix de Monaco Historique race, TAG Heuer is presenting a dedicated limited-edition timepiece and obviously, it had to be a Monaco watch. This “Grand Prix de Monaco Historique” Edition is based on the recently introduced upgrade executed by TAG Heuer on its classic watch, with the introduction of its in-house movement in the squared case – the new TAG Heuer Monaco Calibre 02, replacing the Calibre 12 version with ETA-based movement. Apart from the new movement, the brand retained most iconic features of this 1969 watch, mostly its square-shaped case with protruding facetted crystal, a combination of polished and brushed surfaces, rectangular pushers and a perforated racing strap.

Audemars Piguet introduces Royal Oak Jumbo Extra-Thin “Yoshida” Diamond Dial 15206PT and 15207OR
These new editions retain all the classic elements of the Jumbo case and bracelet, meaning a thin and reasonably large case, measuring 39mm x 8.1mm. The shapes, the bezel and the crown are familiar, with the signature octagonal-shaped bezel, eight white gold screws and a finishing combining straight brushed surfaces and polished accents. The bracelet is also the classic RO version, thin and superbly executed, equipped with an AP-shaped folding clasp. The big deal with these two Yoshida editions is the choice of materials. The 15206PT is crafted in 950 platinum and the 15207OR is made of 18k pink gold.

Breguet unveils a new Reine de Naples creation
The new Reine de Naples 8918 features expertly applied grand feu enamel on its dial – a first for this collection. Against an immaculate background, the stylized Breguet Arabic numerals appear in blue enamel, as does the signature of the House and the words “émaillé Grand Feu” (grand feu enamel). The alligator leather strap, fitted with a folding buckle set with 28 diamonds, echoes these heavenly hues. Adorning the circumference of the bezel and the dial flange are 117 diamonds surrounding this composition in white gold. The Reine de Naples 8918 in grand feu enamel ticks to the rhythm of a self-winding manufacture caliber.

Parmigiani Fleurier presents Tonda 1950 Moonbow
The Tonda 1950 Moonbow draws inspiration from two phenomena only apparent to a careful observer and re-imagines a lunar rainbow, or moonbow, on the bezel and a spiral galaxy on the dial. Its flying tourbillon is reminiscent of a spiral galaxy and dances amid celestial beings on an aventurine sky, carefully placed at seven o’clock, a nod to Michel Parmigiani’s birth on December 2, 1950 at 7:08 am. The development of an ultra-thin tourbillon movement is a challenge for any watchmaker. Parmigiani Fleurier found a solution by integrating a platinum micro-rotor into the plate of the movement, resulting in a caliber only 3.4 mm thick. In addition, it is hand-finished with the most admirable decorations in the brand’s manufacture.
