Omega Speedmaster in Black Ceramic

The all-black OMEGA Speedmaster represents a sleek and sporty new addition to the popular Speedmaster collection. The black zirconium oxide ceramic dial, complemented by a matching ceramic 44.25 mm case with a brushed and polished ceramic casebody, features  striking 18K white gold applied indexes as well as two blackened sub-dials that distinguish the timepiece from its legendary predecessor, OMEGA’s “Moonwatch”. This unique timepiece is presented on a highly durable black Cordura® fabric strap complete with a black ceramic buckle. The timepiece is water resistant to 5 bar. Powered by the incredibly advanced in-house movement, the OMEGA Co-Axial calibre 9300, and equipped with a Si14 silicon balance spring, this Speedmaster is offered with a full four-year warranty.

Graham Releases First Silverstone Skeletonized Watch

Graham released a number of new models in its sporty Chronofighter and Silverstone collections, as well as a few significant pieces in its recently established Geo. Graham line of elegant, complicated watches. Notable here was the Silverstone Skeleton RS, the first skeletonized watch in the Silverstone collection available in three models, with red, green or blue highlights, each limited to 250 pieces. On the other hand Graham received "Catman" Eric Singer from “KISS” in its booth. Eric Loth founder and CEO of graham welcomed “KISS” drummer Eric Singer who is obsessive about the brand and products.

Hublot – Big Bang Ferrari “Carbon Red Magic”

The success of the two first Big Bang Ferrari watches in 2012 is already inspiring new models! Three timepieces are to join the extremely select circle of this cooperation between Ferrari and Hublot, including the Carbon Red Magic. With a case and a movement – named the UNICO – entirely designed, developed and produced at Hublot, this watch is the symbol of the brand’s progress towards vertical integration. It boasts a wealth of performance, including a reliable and robust Flyback chronograph function distinguished by the original positioning of its double coupling-clutch mechanism and the famous column wheel visible on the dial side. The equally impressive carbon fibre case is built on a multi-layered principle that avoids bubbles and thus enhances its resistance. Finally, the mass of the red sapphire crystal was coloured directly during its making, thereby guaranteeing its unalterability. Movement - Mechanical automatic, Manufacture UNICO HUB 1241 calibre, 330 parts, 28,800 vib/H, 72-hour power reserve; beadblasted and satin-brushed black oscillating weight shaped like a Ferrari wheel rim.

Aigner Reveals Mediterranean Lifestyle Designs

The Aigner horseshoe remains a central element in its new 2013 collection. The new Eternally Roma collection with its massive series has a bold look that features a horseshoes shaped black ceramic bezel etched with Roman numerals and the brand’s horseshoe logo. Also Aigner revealed its Capri  collection with a lovely horseshoe-shaped bezel that lends a tidily alluring appeal to the several models in the line. It also comes with shimmery gold plating or in stainless steel. The case has a seductive shape and surrounded with a mother-of-pearl dial where the hours and minutes are shown. Its’ also comes with a variety of leather straps that varies from deep purple and red to classic black.

Charriol Showcased its Novelties in Style

For Charriol, 2013 marks the 30-year anniversary of this unique Swiss watch and jewelry Maison, and BASELWORLD brings the opportunity to reassert the power and originality of this thriving brand. During a press lunch organized especially for the Middle East media in Plaza Hotel in Basel, Philippe Charriol revealed the new 2013 collection in a style. True to the Celtic spirit that inhabits the brand, Charriol presents AEL – angel in Celtic, a jewel of a watch that young women will adore. Proposed in black or white, this seemingly minimalist duo has more than one surprise in store. The bezel and case are in ceramic, accentuated by the stainless steel cable that circles this 34 millimeter diameter. A visual hallmark of the brand, cables also embellish the rubber strap. Glam Rock Launches New Watches in BaselWorld

American watch brand Glam Rock has officially launched a selection of new watches in BaselWorld. New designs include highly polished stainless steel watches, rose gold tone watches, curb link chain bracelets, some weaved with leather, colourful dials with diamond markers and a watch with a wraparound leather strap.

Breitling Launches World's First Wristwatch with Dual Frequency Locator Beacon

The Breitling Emergency II is the world's first wristwatch with a built-in personal locator beacon and is intended for a wide range of uses in a variety of fields around the world, including aviation, navigation, climbing, trekking, hiking, exploration and extreme sports. The Breitling Emergency II is not only a personal survival instrument but also an electronic chronograph featuring all the functions useful to professionals and adventurers - 12/24 hour analog and digital display, 1/100th second chronograph, alarm, timer, second timezone, multilingual calendar and battery end of life indication. Saint Honore Coquet Women with Royal Coloseo

This model instantly intrigues observers and draws all eyes. Although the resemblance is not entirely obvious, there is a definite sense of déjà vu. That is doubtless because the Royal Coloseo revives the spirit of the Speed Boat model, bringing it firmly back to centre-stage on the watchmaking scene. The newcomer retains all the charm of the stellar model from the year 2000s. RSW Celebrates “La Neuveville” with a Superb Chronograph

A year ago, RSW celebrated the 700^th anniversary of La Neuveville with an eponymous dedicated collection. Building on the success of these models, the Bienne-based brand is enriching its line with a new chronograph. Equipped with a Valjoux 7750 movement, this timepiece displays a beautifully understated vintage look. The black dial, the applied silver-toned hour-markers and the balanced layout of the short-time counters and the day/date apertures confirm this classic yet sophisticated expression. The distinctively innovative touch appears between 3 and 4 o’clock, in the shape of the famous fold-out crank crown that has become the RSW signature feature. ArtyA – Son of Sound

Son of Sound promises to make a lot of noise. Tissot Reveals Luxury of Time

It is indeed pure luxury to have an automatic watch that will last for 80 hours in addition to providing a pure and divine look. The new Tissot Luxury Automatic COSC collection launched in BaselWorld, includes the first Swiss watches to contain the new caliber nicknamed Powermatic 80, an automatic movement with COSC chronometer certification and an 80-hour power reserve. The Powermatic 80 is the product of collaboration between Tissot and the movement manufacturer ETA.

N.O.A Introduces Oro Nero

This year, the Mammoth collection welcomes a highly exclusive 100-piece limited series named Oro Nero. The “oro” part of the name refers to the pink gold dial featuring a centre adomed with a delightful “chocolate bar” type guilloche motif, as well as the pink gold inner bezel ring bearing the brand’s distinctive round hour-markers. Meanwhile the adjective “nero” denotes the dominant matt black shade of the case, crown, pushers and strap which creates a spectacular contrast with the dial.

BEDAT & Co Introduces its First Female Watch

This contemporary and avant-garde watch innovates first and foremost in terms of its shape with a bangle-type textured acrylic strap, and secondly through its lines. An octagon duplicated all around the strongly curving bracelet creates a wire mesh pattern composing a sequence of “8” numbers echoing the mathematical symbol of infinity. The off-centred dial shakes up conventions by framing the outlines of four assembled octagons. This model showcases the technical and aesthetic talents of Alfex by achieving a perfect balance between materials: supple and transparent acrylic on the one hand, and sturdy steel on the other, all in harmonious shades of grey.
