Arnold & Son unveils the Sir John Franklin Set of three fabulous timepieces

The three watches in the John Franklin Set are the latest additions to the Instrument Collection and take as their subject three famous paintings from London’s National Maritime Museum. The movement rhodium treated with Haute Horlogerie finishing: hand-chamfered bridges with polished edges, fine circular graining and Côtes de Genève rayonnantes, brushed and skeletonised oscillating weight, blued screws with bevelled and mirror-polished heads. The dial is hand-finished. The case is in rose gold, cambered sapphire with anti-reflective coating on both sides. The strap is hand stitched brown alligator leather.

Christophe Claret presents Maguerite watch

Marguerite, the new floral wonder by Christophe Claret where the functions hours and minutes are indicated by two butterflies flying around the dial. The case is champagne set white gold, bezel set with diamonds. The dial with double indications changes between 2 displays is done via a pusher at 2 clocks, which rotates the metallized transparent sapphire upper disk bearing a mosaic of transparent squares fixed white mother-of-pearl lower disk overlaid with a pad-printed blue varnish. Crown: White gold with white gold cabochon set with a blue sapphire. The strap is blue alligator leather with blue stitching and white gold screws and clasp is of white gold.

A. Lange & Söhne reveals new colours for two iconic watches

A. Lange & Söhne presents its chronograph collection: Two attractive models in pink gold/black (DATOGRAPH UP/DOWN) and white gold/grey (DATOGRAPH PERPETUAL). In the DATOGRAPH UP/DOWN, it has had a longer power reserve since 2012 as well as a power-reserve indicator with an UP/DOWN scale. Since May 2015, the chronograph, which previously only came in a platinum case, has also been available in a pink-gold version with a black dial. The argenté-coloured subsidiary dials and deep-blue moon disc on the new white-gold model of the DATOGRAPH PERPETUAL stand out particularly clearly thanks to the dial’s subtle grey background.
