Mid East Watch & Jewellery Show sees huge turnout at Expo Centre Sharjah.

According to the organizers of the Middle East Watch and Jewellery show over 500 exhibitors are taking part in this year’s event which kicked off on Tuesday in Sharjah, with companies seeking to expand and boost their presence in the UAE market.

The show, which will be held until October 7, was inaugurated by Shaikh Khaled Bin Abdullah Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, chairman of the Department of Seaports and Customs.

The UAE accounts for 14 per cent of the world’s gold trade, with the country’s gold trade volumes growing to Dh244.3 billion in 2016.
