Jewellery Trade Dubai to focus on diamonds

Jewellery Trade Dubai, the trade wing of the Dubai International Jewellery Week (DIJW) to be held from 11 to 15 November 2008, will have a special spotlight on diamonds this year. Dubai’s diamond trade has witnessed a record growth in 2007 increasing by 53 % to reach USD $ 11.23 billion. DIJW will bring together three components together for the first time. These are Areeq Dubai, the ‘luxury’ event which included brands from the crème-de-la-crème of the jewellery world; Jewellery Collections Dubai—the ultimate jewellery retail event and Jewellery Trade.
