VOD Dubai International Jewellery Show is busy prepping for numerous catwalk shows, trend presentations, influencer talks and more that will keep consumers entertained over the four-day show.
It’s the biggest and most unique jewellery and gem exhibition the region has ever seen, and as VOD Dubai International Jewellery Show prepares to welcome more than 20,000 visitors to Dubai World Trade Centre later this month, organisers are busy prepping for numerous catwalk shows, trend presentations, influencer talks and more that will keep consumers entertained over the four-day show.
Showcasing tens of thousands of stunning creations and exquisite masterpieces from almost 500 local and international designers, the well-heeled of Dubai will enjoy spending their days perusing over 80 different product categories ranging from chic designer collections to unique precious stones. Yet for those after something a little extra, daily catwalk shows will add an extra hit of glamour to the already-prestigious line-up.

The opening day Gold-themed fashion show ‘Extreme Sophistication’ will put a shine on the runway, while ‘The Master’s Archive’ diamonds catwalk and ‘Fauvist Fantasy’ coloured stones catwalk are scheduled for days two and three respectively. Aiming to foster young and local talent by creating career opportunities for regional designers, the Jawhara Heritage Awards will also be held on the closing day, November 18th.

To complement these shows, visitors and fans alike can attend daily talks with some of the region’s biggest influencers and celebrities, while getting up close and personal with their favourite style heroes. This year’s event will welcome Aishwarya Ajit, Nina Zandnia, Nina Ali and Nisa Tiwana who will be interviewed by the editors of Dubai’s most popular fashion and lifestyle magazines.

Last but certainly not least, the TRENDVISION Jewellery+Forecasting seminars taking place on 16 and 17 November will forecast jewellery trends for 2018, with the Independent Forecasting Observatory of the Goldsmithing and Jewellery Trades presenting its overview on consumer habits and market.
