Karati sets its sights on the Middle East

Japanese jewellery brand Karati, founded and conceived by Masatsugu Hara in 1998, is set to attain a higher profile in the Middle East. On his first visit to the UAE, the company President & Chief Designer Mr. Hara outlined his strategy for growth in the region, in an exclusive interview with Arabian Watches & Jewellery (AWJ) Magazine. The brand, with unique and high-quality collections, has already made headway in the region in Qatar and Saudi Arabia through its partner Al Fardan Jewellery and is participating for the second consecutive year at the upcoming 7th Doha International Jewellery & Watches exhibition to be staged in the Qatari capital from 16 to 21 February 2010. The company is also exploring agency and distributorship deals in the UAE.
