The 42nd edition of IIJS Bharat Premiere 2026 was inaugurated by Shri Chirag Paswan, Hon’ble Union Minister of Food Processing Industries, Government of India, at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai. Highlighting the gem and jewellery sector’s role in strengthening Brand India globally, Paswan noted the participation of delegates from nearly 80 countries as a reflection of growing international confidence in the industry. He emphasized the government’s commitment to reforms, ease of doing business and new growth opportunities, while urging the sector to uphold the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship so that “Made in India” continues to earn the trust of consumers worldwide.
