To celebrate its tenth anniversary, Chronométrie Ferdinand Berthoud presents its first book, Ferdinand Berthoud: The Quest for Precision, now available through Assouline. Located in Val-de-Travers, Switzerland, the Maison revives the legacy of Ferdinand Berthoud (1727–1807), honoring his lifelong pursuit of precision. The publication traces the evolution of the manufacture, from acquiring Berthoud’s name in 2006 to the creation of its most ambitious project, Naissance d’une Montre 3. Through rich storytelling and curated imagery, the book showcases the Maison’s dedication to innovation, artisanal excellence, and chronometric mastery, celebrating a decade of authentic craftsmanship and the enduring legacy of a visionary watchmaker.
