Antiquorum to host first 2008 auction of more than 800 important timepieces

Antiquorum, the world’s leading watch auctioneer begins 2008 with an excellent sale including more than 800 lots.  This first Spring Auction entitled ‘Important Collectors & Watches’ Pocket Watches & Clocks’ will be held at the Grand Hotel Kempinski in Geneva on 15 and 16 March 2008. Previews of the collections will be held in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Geneva.

Among the collections expected to go under the hammer is an Omega watch once owned by King Frederik IX of Denmark as well as other rare and exquisite collections from Jaeger LeCoultre, Rolex, Vacheron Constantin and Patek Philippe. Antiquorum is also selling an important single-owner collection of wristwatches acquired during the last decades by an unidentified European Nobleman.
