Rado announces its newest ambassador in the world of tennis

Rado has announced that the German tennis star, Julia Gorges, has joined the brand as an ambassador. The partnership strengthens Rado’s return to the world of tennis and is in addition to its sponsorship agreement with Olympic and US Open Champion and world men’s no. 3, Andy Murray, which was announced in June this year. Julia was born in Germany in 1988, began playing tennis at the age of 6 and turned professional in July 2005. She is the current world no. 19 and has won two WTA singles titles. Her highest ranking to date was no.15 in March 2012. Julia is a clay and hard court specialist and has twice beaten a reigning world number one.
