UAE Education Minister calls for research & innovation at Rolex seminar

The UAE must build a new tradition in innovation and research in order to keep pace with global economic and social changes, said UAE Minister of Higher Education & Scientific Research HE Sheikh Nahayan Mubarak Al Nahayan at the opening of the first Rolex Middle East Forum recently held in Dubai.

The Rolex Middle East Forum, a daylong debate in Dubai with contributions from expert panelists drawn from a wide range of scientific fields, was the culmination of the 2008 Rolex Awards for Enterprise.
