Vulcain commemorates 150th anniversary at Baselworld 2008; launches new collection

Le Locle, Switzerland based Vulcain Watches founded by Maurice Ditisheim in 1858, commemorated its 150th Anniversary in characteristic style with a grand reception held at the Ramada Plaza Hotel in the Baselworld Exhibition premises. The brand, whose watches have adorned the wrists of former US Presidents Dwight Eisenhower, Lyndon B. Johnson and Richard M. Nixon, also used the ceremony as the platform to introduce the new 2008 collection. Present on the occasion was Bernard Fleury, CEO, Vulcain and Xavier Bouin, Managing Director & Frederick Weber, Brand Manager, Euroluxe LLC, distributors for the brand in the Middle East and other senior officials from Al Tayer-Azal, partner-distributors in the UAE.
