A regular guest at the Cannes International Film Festival and friend of Caroline Scheufele, Chinese actress Zhang Ziyi will present the Trophée Chopard awards on May 20th, 2019, honouring two particularly promising talents in international filmmaking. At the joint invitation of Pierre Lescure, President of the Festival, and Thierry Frémaux, General Delegate, together with Caroline Scheufele, Co-President and Artistic Director of Chopard, she will attend an official dinner to be held at the Agora, a stone's throw from the Palais des Festivals.
