Coloured diamonds are increasingly capturing the attention of collectors and investors as a rare, luxurious alternative to traditional gemstones. Auction prices highlight their appeal, with the Pink Star fetching USD 71.2 million, the Oppenheimer Blue USD 57.5 million, and the Graff Vivid Yellow CHF 14.5 million over the past decade. At GemGenève’s tenth edition, over fifty exhibitors - nearly a third of the 202 participants—showcased coloured diamonds, reflecting a buoyant market. Among these, nine specialised dealers were selected for their exceptional quality, ensuring buyers access to truly unique stones and underscoring the growing dynamism of this niche, high-end segment.
