A high-level Montblanc delegation from the company’s headquarters in the German port city of Hamburg was recently in the United Arab Emirates on a special mission. The occasion was the launch, amid much fanfare, in the Middle East of Montblanc’s new silver jewellery line—the first for the manufacturer better known for its renowned range of pens and writing accessories. The three member team comprised of Jean Marc Pontroue, General Manager; Sonke Tornieporth, Vice President, Sales and Oliver Gossler, Area Manager, Middle East & Africa.

There was an exclusive preview of three creative, innovative lines of Montblanc jewellery for the press at a leading hotel in Dubai. On display were the ‘Star Collection’, Montblanc ‘Wish Ring’ from the Profile collection and the Boheme Collection.

Also present on the occasion was Shanu Nag, Chief Operating Officer of UAE-based Excel Enterprises, part of the Rivoli Group, the regional distributors for the Montblanc collection. The Montblanc team is also expected to visit Qatar, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, as part of their Gulf tour.
