Abu Dhabi's GDP increases by 4.5% in Q3 2024, driven by the non-oil sector

Abu Dhabi’s economy expanded by 4.5 per cent in Q3 2024 compared to the same period last year, reaching a record high of Dhs301.8bn, according to the latest report from the Statistics Centre – Abu Dhabi (SCAD). The growth was propelled by a strong performance in the non-oil economy, which grew by 6.6 per cent year-on-year. Despite global economic challenges, Abu Dhabi has demonstrated resilience, outpacing many global forecasts.
