Van Cleef & Arpels’ ‘Perlee’ collection honours the House’s traditional ‘perle’ effect with an original and contemporary design which remains simple yet sophisticated. Perlee is a succession of a wedding band or bracelet. Each bead lies on the border of a ribbon joint in polished pink or white gold, integrating into stacked rings and bangles or simply shining alone on the hand.
This new gold-based design is particularly innovative. The carefully beaded edges, which hallmark this collection, are visible in the House’s High Jewellery collections since the 50s and more recently in the celebrated ‘Alhambra’ collection. Thus, this unique perle effect remains an endless cornerstone of creativity for Van Cleef & Arpels.
